Gilman Posted October 29, 2014 Share Posted October 29, 2014 Hi folks I have a bit of an issue with my engine in my 1.6 SOHC.It runs fine on warm up but when it’s up to temperature the idle is playing up. When you rev it and the revs drop back down to idle it drops to low and almost stalls and on occasion has. Then it will pick back up and be ok but does it every time it’s revved. So if you change gear to slow and the revs drop back to idle it struggles and almost stalls. I suspect a vacuum leak on the intake manifold but am struggling to find one. I have also run some injector cleaner through it as I was on occasion getting a slight misfire when the engine was cold, this seems to have sorted the misfire but now the idle is annoying me.
