Corresponding US model codes for UK M's

I'm looking at buying some parts from the US (half the price, even with postage & then they''re on offer too! ). Does anyone know what US model code corresponds to a MC2?

None that I know of, the 'M' civic was a european vehicle, it wasn't sold in the US or Japan.

Thats true, but I am sure that mechanics is not that different from the US models, isnt it?
Should we be able to get, for example, shocks, springs, trailing arm bushing, brake discs, calipers and main cylinders,etc... shouldnt all of that fit onto Ms? Also same should be with motor parts, psitons, rings, water pumps, gaskets...
For example I have MB1, and also have been looking to get some parts from US eBay, so now i am in doubt...

If anyone experienced knows more about this...your help would be appreciated.

As long as you have the original part number, and you quote the guy in the states with this, he MAY be able to have these. Alot of parts are shared globally.
