  1. I've got the stage 4 competition clutch in mine and still after a few thousand miles it's the same. Very snatchy, does take some getting use too

  2. Bit of a wash and hand polish today. Needs a machine polish really. But nice to give her some love. And finally.... Actually went for a little drive few miles the next village. Seems to go just fine. Smooth and no smoke that I can see. Still leaking from somewhere I need to get her up and have a look. Clutch is gonna take some getting used too. Very snatchy.

  3. THE TIME IS NEAR CIVIC5 ADDICTS! Insurance in place for the 8th, just need to put the refurbed headlights in and put a bit of water in the system (due to a slight seepage whilst it’s been sitting) and then get it to work Thursday to get its MOT!! Excited isn’t the word!!

  6. That's the style......you've now got a solid car that should be good for the foreseeable......isn't it a great feeling when your car passes muster Ricky Rust has been ousted.....your anti roll bushes and drop links have been renewed......tis time to enjoy your new improved car.

  8. So a bit of an update after a really busy (and expensive!) week. After finding out I needed some welding on the sills on Monday I had it in on Wednesday with a guy who the garage I use for MOT’s were raving about. He spent most of the day on it and did a bloody good job, not expensive either. Whole jacking point on the offside rear was rotten so lower sill had to be patched and the jacking point repaired, and the side piece had a patch put in too with new holes for the skirt clips. I think he’s then ground back the bad rust on both sills all the way up because he’s undersealed them right up into the wheel arches which is helpful! Got the sill covers on and back in for MOT on Thursday where I just needed a tyre. Got that bought and test passed (completely forgot I had a brand new tyre on a spare alloy at home) Friday it was back in the garage to try and solve a belt noise that’s been irritating me, they suspected it just needs new belts so that will have to be done at another time but I got anti roll bar bushes and droplinks replaced - what a difference! Something as small as that and I can feel it in the car when going over bumps, cornering, and setting off. Taxed and insured for another year too.

  9. Yeah its a stage 4 or 5 (can't remember now) comp clutch and flywheel. I put an organic clutch in my last turbo civic which was lovely but used to slip if ya pulled off hard so yaknow didnt fancy risking that again. It is an oil leak yes. I think it's the 1/8 plug fitted where the turbo oil feed will be. But cannot confirm without having a proper look.

  10. Wow ! that's a finish you can be proud of......your car looks brand spanking new. Was it a competition clutch you used ? seeing as it's so snatchy. Is it an oil leak you speak of ?
