  1. So after about 18 month of breaking up my saloon I missed my civic to much so I swapped my is200 sport cross for a completely stock manual d16w4 aerodeck back in October. It’s had 160,000 miles on it, “was” really clean came with mint headlight covers and the red key still in its box unused. Couple months have gone by got it motd and started working on it. Had all this done so far. She’s had brand new HSD dualtechs, hkb boss kit, personal wheel, rear camber arms, mesh grill, ek spoiler, dewiper, de chromed headlights, roof rail delete, back box and cat delete. Plus a few other extra bits. At the moment she’s on a set of 15x7 WORK EWINGs with brand new toyo proxes TR1s (bloody good i must say much better that the predecessor ditch finders lol) Got a lot plan with as you can probably guess for the title. The main thing will be sorting the large amount of rust that’s been found behind the plastic sills. I have the car on Instagram to with updates Divergent7_7. Stay tuned

  5. So, thought I'd post a wee update on future plans for DD this year. Just bought a Road Angel Go Dashcam to replace the current rear view mirror one with built in cam that I fitted. The Mirror with dashcam is too big, so means you cant use the sun visors without the mirror getting knocked out of the way. Wanted the Road Angel as its really small and discreet. Also bought the hard wire kit for it so once the temp outside picks up, will be getting this fitted. Decided that this year, I'm going ahead with the project for doing the double din dash conversion so i can fit an android double din head unit. Got the two spare centre consoles, just waiting on the double din cage coming. Also got new roof bars to fit too her roof rails, to make her even more practical. Will get pics of the new stuff and do a how to guide for the double din conversion. Last wee pic of her dash before the double din gets done: And just a wee pose she did for the camera lol

  10. Quite happy that I managed to get a hold of an unused replacement gear knob: I really liked the one I had in tubs, but the leather was goosed. Found this one the same on ebay still in its box (been in there a while by the look of it)

  11. I've seen some replacement stickers (for a Ford) on ebay, which should work with a bit of butchering. Would be nice to stick with honda style though. Can't beat a bit of tinkering on a Sunday though ey?

  13. @Davecheers mate this is only the beginning though. There’s a lot more to come and to happen. I do like the works just wish they were wider haha. The headlight I think is one of the best free mods you can do on these. I want to put projectors int them and black them out completely

  15. Some great plans there Dave I wish you all the luck for it! My little MB2 has recently had a huge lot of welding done on the sills which has made me more confident about plans for the future and I've just fit a new battery where it might just be my imagination but everything feels nice and smooth since then. Continuing that I'm hoping to get the following done: - New boot gas struts (soon) - Trailing arm bushes (soon) - New fan belts (soon) - Full Service - Coolant & Gearbox oil change - Refurb or have a go sanding/spraying some spare OEM wheels I have to go on - Finally(!) Get the boot spoiler installed I wanted to completely refurb the suspension soon to be honest, front and back. I thought about getting it into a garage and getting majority of the bushes/control arms replaced, but that got me thinking the thing that might improve it most is new shocks all round. But that gets me thinking about coilovers etc etc. Plus I've never done this before - wouldn't know which bushes to get done and not amount to ridiculous prices! Also got a VTIS lip kit still to spray the correct colour and install as well if I want. Held off doing that the past couple of years as I like the practicality of the mud flaps!

  16. Watch yerself, that kinda thinking can end up being expensive! lmao Good thing about the circuit boards is there isn't any components on them other than the switch and the two bulbs (so no transistors etc) so think the wiring should be easy enough to figure out. Worst that could happen is wire them up and it blows a fuse if it aint right. With the diagram, and looking at the tracks on the boards, should be simple enough to work out how to wire them (or work out if they can actually be wired.) I went a bit further in that i took the heated window image bit from button1 (it pops out, and then you can separate it from the coloured bit too) to see what it would be like stuck on button2. It looked kinda ok, the white bits from the shape of the car on button2 showing through and showing the outlines of the heated rear window. Bit parts of the heated window werent visible due to the white car shape on button2. So i sanded button2 back gently, and it goes clear. So you could sand it clear, mask out a rectangle same size as the heated window, spray button2 black on outside and white on inside and this would make the heated window image stand out perfectly. I know, I must have too much time on my hands lmao! Just wanted to see how things were made tis all
