  2. All running nicely now. Fired straight up no spluttering or weirdness. Touch wood continues to behave. Get some miles on it then map. Turbosmart BOV and boost pipe amended next week by Dynodaze.
  3. Cheers mate. Coming together isn't it. This weekends a write off unfortunately, big job on. Got to pay the bills. Covers just the old one. Tarted it up with fresh lick of paint.
  4. Eek. Cars just eat money constantly, fuel lines too short and crosses the throttle body. Parts to make a new one ordered. Boost pipe needs altering too. Decided best to run a BOV with more boost. Turbosmart one ordered. Think you've got it planned out in your head and always extra costs.
  5. Ignore the scruffy valve cover but made some good progress this weekend.
  6. It is yes. There's a little rib of plastic in one of the plugs that prevents it from going into the ECU. But can be trimmed with Stanley blade. It's self explanatory when you try to fit the ECU. You'll see.
  7. I'm not sure, I've looked too. Look the same. Possibly the steering lines won't fit? However I can't find a mg rack either really. There few and far between
  8. P28 is a sound choice. But may want to consider a hondata board in there. Best thing I ever did tbh, so easy make adjustments on the fly. And I don't think many people tune on Crome these days. Altho sure someone will.
  9. Not sure mate. Bit out of touch with it nowadays. Don't think you'll be far off. I had a c4 years ago. P72 head but with the dual springs and c6 cams. Skunk Intake mani etc. Sure that made 195hp. Or thereabouts.

  14. I don't specifically, but seems to be various types on eBay for example. Best to measure the diameter you need and have a look
  15. Hi I believe what you are missing is a gel type sticker with the honda logo. They must have been removed in the past.
  16. I do have a ctek conditioner. But not the best doesn't always kick back in and still end up with a flat. Hopefully if can slow it down that will be still be better. Think my old battery just isn't as good as it was anyway. Maybe would last a week parked up if lucky. Usually only use the car when desperate, Mrs out etc. then go to start and it's dead. Nightmare lol. Seen that type of isolator. Makes sense having it on the neg, however this combined with fuse so goes on live. And just press the button.
  17. Started taking it apart. Swapped turbine housing for bigger one. Power drops off higher up the revs on the smaller housing. Not ideal for my goal. Needs flow.
  18. Back on this project now. Constantly having issues with a flat battery cus car isn't daily driven. So figured fit an isolator so can easily kill the power when parked up. At same time wanted to move the battery to the boot. Been fighting against s**tty weather and not managing to get anything done. Finally a dry few hours. Chose a slightly different battery that will go under the boot floor. Riveted a little plate to battery tray to hold fuse and isolator. Mounted it all up made up some cables. New catch can in old batts place as need 4 breathers now. Hard decision to start on as it's been running so great. But time to disconnect everything and start swapping engine over. Eeeek
  19. What a lovely little car. Yeah bit of a Mish mash. Fundamentally civic eg for spares.
  20. I have agreed valuation on mine at 8500 iirc. The insurer asked for a bunch of pics of car showing condition etc and a spec list. And that was the price they came back with. Definitely worth doing, as book price will be rubbish. And to be honest with you more specialist insurers often come back with better prices than the mainstream companies for cars like ours.
  21. Oh god don't tell me that. I was out for a drive yesterday and the day before. Nightmare. I love that your using minidiscs. So good. Gutted they weren't around for too long.
  22. It's not as daunting as you think. Been twice now. I thinks it's about being reserved and getting a feel for it. Etiquette is generally good. I recon a lot of the accidents you see on YouTube are gonna be young daft drivers trying to prove something or just not knowing there's or there cars limit. Of course some genuinely unfortunate ones too.
