  1. Not really an answer to your question about dealer plates, but the brochure for the aerodeck and the hatch back has plates with "civic" on (fire the aerodeck one you need to download it as the pics on the post are duplicates from the hatchback post. I guess it would have just been marketed as a civic?
  2. Got to agree there... Climair are far superior.
  3. Hi, assuming that the MA windows are the same as the MB / MC ( @Dave do you know?) then the options I'm aware of are Climair ones or Team Heko.
  4. Nice looking MB bud. The wiring info should be in the workshop manual that you can download from this site (in the downloads section of the menu) For the manual winders though, take a look on rimmerbros.com for mg rover ones... https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID003613
  5. It also hasn't moved if the drive as well mind you, though to be fair that doesn't normally stop it getting dirty. 😂
  6. Looking mint down there.. Nice work mate. Seriously how that's sorted for the ABS.. it's been a journey!
  7. Aye, that worries me about taking the deck on a track... It's be so gutted if I binned it. Though I was looking at hill climb tracks the other day 😁

List of codes are here mate, but weirdly end at 92...
  9. Ah mate, was hoping that wouldn't happen with the civic. Wang some pics of the fn on though.. I'm liking them more the older they get... Same with the 8th gen accords. Hopefully it'll do the job on the track as well.
  10. Sensor for the ir remote I believe.
  11. Aye, best bit is it's a week since it was washed.. Usually it's a mess after a day
  12. How's things going with the crown mate? Still going strong?
  13. Some water beading porn from over night wetness... Do really like that turtle wax hybrid wax stuff.
  14. Thinking about this over night, I think that the top layer that's peeling off might be seam sealer. It wasn't rusty flakes of metal anyway. Will hopefully get a chance to have a look after work
  15. Nice one for getting that sorted - the seats look great in there.
  16. Just had a look on the way back in the house - I fitted the panel, but not those rubber hinge covers... It's clearly those that have gathered all the slop and made it rust.
  17. So since the sun was out, I decided to give the old girl one last wash and coating of the hybrid wax before going to bed for the winter, and decided to give under the shuttle panel at the bottom of the windscreen a check / clean out to make sure it wasn't collecting leaves. Thought it seemed okay, so gave it a bit of a clean anyway to get rid of some slime. But then found some bloody rust on the passenger side corner The top skin is peeling off, and there's bare metal underneath, which has thankfully just got some surface rust... Feels like I've caught this just in the nick of time... But feel a bit sick. Didn't take any more pics after cleaning it up a bit more, but need to get it treated and sorted ASAP.
  18. Yeah, I've had that (on two decks now...) tends to be the seam sealer on the roof panel underneath the trim where the roof bars are. Hope you get it sorted
  19. Looks good mate. The sports cat made quite a difference when I fitted mine. Starlight headliner looks good.
  20. Ah man, that is a bummer. Hopefully though what you've done has stopped it getting any worse. Do you think the tank will need to come out?
  21. Sunday car wash day as I've got a couple of hours to myself. Second time using this stuff.. Really good.. Was a bit of a chew putting the base coat on last time, but once that's on, you use it after rinsing and then just buff off. It must be nearly two months since I put the base coat on, but the water was still running off in sheets when I was rinsing the shampoo off. Other products used today are..
  22. I think that grant had done the usdm indicator /running light thing, and when the car was in getting all the work done I asked them to swap my old lighting loom of Tubs. Think they just wired them up the right way around though as there's loads of insulation tape around the wires to the headlights (which tbh is why I gave them a wiggle..) Did spend all evening the night before trying to understand wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual and the Honda workshop manual.
  23. Had a properly weird thing happening one night this week. When I turned my headlights on from sidelights, the left height adjustment motor moved a bit. With the headlights on, if I turned the left indicator on, it ran slowly, dimmed the left headlight, and set the front and rear windscreen wipers tuning constantly... The only way to them turn them off was to turn the headlights off again. Fiddled with the wiring around the passenger side lights and it got rid of it, so there's obviously something dodgy in that area with current going to earth or something.
  24. Weirdly was just watching Ed China's latest youtube video (workshop diaries) where he sent a fiesta abs unit to be remanufactured. Hope you get to the bottom of it mate.
