  1. Slow progress at the minute. Due to crap weather, work and the gym.

    More parts on the way.

I hate brake lines! Don’t want to be doing them again! Ended up replacing the whole lines front to back which is a pain in the a*s.

Got my mate to powder coat my front hardrace camber arms as they were looking tired. All new poly bushes on the front should tighten everything up.

    Anyway heres some pictures.

Thanks Dave. I have given my email so I get updated if and when they get the shipment.

As for the silicone hoses can you guys then reccomend some? I don't need the whole kit just top and bottom hoses and would prefer not to have to modify them to fit.

the big ones you on about?

skunk2 and mishimoto are the main ones. i have skunk2 and found they are pretty good

That's the normal filling point. Going slow for the last half litre wasn't too bad and easy to get the level. I've seen people fill up by taking out the Speedo sensor and drive before now. It's what ever is easier for you I guess

ye man i know it says to fill up from there, just find it easier to fill up from the breather :)

Speedo sensor hole aint a bad shout either!

Just been planning a load of engine bay dress up stuff as well. Going to go for mainly red I think. Got some blue Spoon socks coming (cheap & cheerful to decide if I like & can't find many red ones) Oil/radiator caps, battery clamp, heat proof paint for the rocker cover writing etc. Eventually I'll take the rocker cover off as well as the exhaust heat shield and give them both a respray.

My radiator clamp/bracket is badly rusted/flaking though, anybody know where you can get a replacement for the MB's? They look different to most other Civic's but could be wrong?

i've just used normal paint for my rocker.

also s2000 EK civic rad stay will fit mate.

    here's my bay

  5. you can't take apart the MB6 rack, i've tried and failed, they just don't come apart without f**king it.

i've got a DC2 rack to go in mine now, which i'm yet to fit. but same fitment as MB6 and adjustable.

if you do loop the rack make sure you put a small breather pipe in between the hoses so there is less chance of the rack seizing or locking up

cheers pal, I'm really happy with the work the powder coaters do only issue is it's a 2 week turn around! Where are you getting your new subframe bolts from out of interest?

the two main bushes in the lower arms have been changed already I'm not sure on the others. They're what I removed from the donor car, most of the bushes had been changed on that.

honda mate is where i get mine from ;)

only asking because i have a set of arms polybushed thats up for grabs ;)

yeah i can't wait to see the final result, i have to wait to receive a litlle more covering.

i had to do it myself because it's too expansive, otherwise I had to pay 320€ for the interior...and i paid 340€ for the roof.

wow that's expensive for the interior! but it's quite a bit to get out and tricky

    looks good so far!

It'll sit there for a week or so now while he goes on holiday and then he can buff and polish the whole car and it can go for the engine install

Wheels didn't get close enough to worry about it before paint so didn't bother.  By the time we do the cambers correctly it still shouldn't be an issue but he's got the car and can do it so he may as well.  If the arches are warmed up first and it's done properly it won't damage the paint

fair enough mate. ye thats the usual way is to warm up the arch so the paint will mold with the metal
