  1. But might have a rear disc setup for your car if you want one
  2. SITREP 20170528 Started ripping the Civic Sport apart today, car has finally got me to my end of my tether- everything has been tried and there's a water leak from somewhere on the (new, earlier this year) block and its driving me mental so I've decided to cut my losses and do the Deck' All stuff I have will now be fitted/transfered and eventually the car will be sprayed - possibly nighthawk black Noticed the slam panel is slightly different so will be drilled out and swapped over (deck is bent a little bit)
  3. Was it a new dizzy or used? If you're replacing dizzys that often there might be something else wrong, I've heard of someone not having their cam caps tightened to correct ft-lb causing vibrations thus causing damage to the dizzy/bearings. Have you done any head work?
  4. Are you sure the splines are correct? do you have pics?
  5. I got an EG / DC2 boss in my MB2, going into my MC2 aswell
  6. I definitely agree, Im going to do essentials this weekend (drop links, ball joints and tie rods) and suspension either in the week after work (yeah right!!) Or next weekend if alls well Still considering what wheels to go with, in a bit of a toss up between BBS RS Style or RPF1's - I love the polished look of the RS's but I just don't think I could clean them enough with all the country lane driving I do
  7. I thought yours was a Civic Sport I was proper confused looking why you had drums
  8. I'm heading to a local motorsport place next week to get the tracking done with full fast-road setup, toe arms probably weren't necessary but having that adjustment is always nice! I'll tell you how they fair and report back! They're SK2 so should be fairly decent anyway
  9. Me either! The standard ones are like pencils these are some heavy duty b****rs!
  10. I got upper megan racing upper camber arms and new wishbones/lower front control arms with polybushes, Function7 rear lower control arms, Skunk2 toe arms, Skunk2 camber armsthought might aswell do the lot while I've got everything off
  11. its the coilovers, suspension arms, bushings etc that are going to be the things I regret starting when it starts pouring down
  12. Yeah, hopefully She'll be back on the road on monday Like when I did the engine swap "Rain ain't a thing but a bitch."
  13. SITREP 20170516 2334 I'm back! The past few months have been a roller coaster of a journey, I've packed my s**t up, shipped myself across the globe numerous times for work but I'm done (for now) and I'm settling in the Midlands for the next few foreseeable years. I said in the last few months I'd been hoarding parts, well heres just some of the things I've collected on my journey. Not pictured is Pro Sport coilovers, Function 7, Megan racing goodies, 300mm 4x100 wilwoods and a set of 205/45/r16 Nankang AR1S tyres and a few other little bits and pieces I've probably missed... So starting from the left > right i'll proceed. Skunk2 Camber arms and Toe arms - Fully adjustable - DC2 Type R spec. Billet torque mount - 1/2 (other is fitted already) AN6 Male fitting for fuel line.. foolishly picked up the wrong direction! Egay billet ally (red) battery tie down.. somehow lost one previous! Thermatec gasket for the z6 manifold Defi temp sensor replacement Vibrant black AN6 fuel hoses Egay "Ryanstar" AN6 fuel filter with female fuel line fitting - chucked out the original internal filter mesh in favour of an Earls one from TorquesUK! I just wanted the red/black housing Omni 3bar MAP sensor Cheddas Auto's Delrin shifter bushings Energy suspension shifter bushings (Poly) - lost some parts... ordered new.. found some parts... now have two.. Clear cam gear cover. Swag ball joints Ridex tie rods Benen tie bar Egay red billet Vacuum block - More lost parts I found In the next few days I'm going to get the Civic sport to the new house and get to work I'll (hopefully) be updating regularly!
  14. Thermatec to replace the sh**e BGA gasket, already have their TB gasket which seals incredibly well, so this should be just as good
  15. Not really sure why my phone autocorrected that He's going to do a map on the MB2 once all the turbo bits are running.. I just need to fix the high pitch whistle due to air leak on TB/IM
  16. Well my days just got a whole lot brighter, car is being written off but safe, road worthy and fine to drive they valued it at £550 so buy back is £22... Looks like the old girls here to stay a bit longer
  17. Yeah, I got the MB2 moving yesterday, now to get the bits and pieces fitted so I can use it on the road again!
  18. Well.. There it is, last wash before she goes. Its been a short but fantastic trip never missed a beat even if she did break a driveshaft! but unfortunately as of late she's been treated badly by the M6... Sat in traffic on Wednesday and a van switched lanes whilst speeding, didn't see we were at a standstill and slammed into a Pug 307 behind me, who then ploughed Into the back of me throwing the car 2-3ft forwards. Bad case of whiplash, bruised lower back and one seriously dented boot. Insurance is coming to inspect on Monday but I highly suspect they'll write it off, whatever the outcome I'll probably be putting the money into the MB or my R32 when I finally get the engine and box back

    Lowering

EG/DC2 are closest, the coilovers are a direct fit. EK are shorter rear shocks but will also work - good luck
  20. @Jordangibbs You're not too far from me, I'm in Coventry. Will have to meet up once my MB2 is finished
  21. Welcome to the club mate! Those plates have seen better days
  22. Yep Thats the some one I have, just make sure you have the same left/crank pulley (passenger) mount i.e 2 or 3 bolt
  23. Even though I'm not going to be working on the car any time soon I've continue hoarding bits until I get back and fit them. Managed to spot a cheap(ish) MR2 Spyder/Roadster electric PS pump for £60 on fleabay- I'll be swapping to that to free up the parasitic power losses of a standard PS pump - I'm also looking to fit two cooling rads- One for oil cooling and the other for PS accompanied by AN6 lines and fittings. The process for wiring up is supprisingly simple, Its the bracketry etc I'll need to get made / make!
  24. My MB2 and MC2 both have flaps, I thought I was a moron and just couldn't work out how to get flaps+vtis kit on together I'll get the stanley blade out then!
