in SOS! Help!!
I know this must sound stupid but after the engine swap the garage decided to cut the key cover off to replace the key chip.
The key looks crap now and i want to replace the cover, is that possible?
I have a spare mb key from a different mb to take the cover off.
If not is there a blank key i could buy from a different model civic and get it cut? The car is running a p28 so no chip required.

It looked amazing but the engine not so much. After spending hundreds trying to fix a cutting out issue and getting a different car I sold it.
Apparently the new owners imported it to New Zealand and I haven't heard of it since.

The best cars iv owned have got to be my current civic sr and my old 1986 micra K10. Both really fun to drive.
The micra was a real head turner, everywhere I went with it there was always someone asking about it.
The worst has to be the suzuki alto, It broke down almost every week and did 0 to 60 in about 3 working days.

I saw it not too long ago in complete civic form so the conversion must've been done recently. I'll try and get some better pictures next time I see it.

I've got someone who can make custom brackets to make it work. My question is would the fog actually fit into my surrounds and will i need to mess with the plugs?

I did enjoy the mb3 but I wanted something unique and rare hence the SR haha I was searching for a long time until I came across this.
Got a bunch of work to do on the sr so best do it before I search for a mb6. Gotta repair the rust before it turns into something bad and possibly a respray as the bodywork is rough, other than that its clean.

Yeah iv had an mb3 with the d15 and the difference between the d15 and d16 is amazing, Cant imagine what a b18 feels like lol.
I could only dream of my mb1 being as clean as hers haha it's too clean.

Ah I was told the B series engine is where it's at when it comes to performance and mods.
Although the d16 can be a bit of fun and keeps up with most modern cars

Yeah according to howmanyleft theres only around 15 SR mb civics left on the roads.
I guess I'll keep the original engine and modify it while saving up for an mb6 on the side.
Also I cant seem to find much info on the D16Y2, I assume all D16 engines are similar when it comes to mods?

I have a civic mb1 sr with a D16Y2 and I'm looking for more power but nothing crazy.
Would it be worth modifying the d16?
I havent driven a B18 and I've been planning on getting one for ages so, would it be best to swap the B18 into my sr or save up for a clean mb6 and start from there?
So far I just have a toyosports exhaust manifold and a unknown catback system.
52k mileage
Some rust to the arches, no idea what the sills are like

So I bought that key and this other one but both of them were too long compared to the mb key.
I tried getting it cut today but the guy said the blank keys are a bit too long.
Is there anywhere else I could buy a blank?
