I have a Honda Civic Fastback 5-door (MA/MB chassis) with the D15Z8 engine, and I’m currently working on a light OEM+ / performance build.

I’m looking for information on where to get the VTi-S / MB6 body kit (front lip, side skirts, rear lip, and spoiler). I’m also open to replicas or individual parts, as long as the fitment is decent.

I’d really appreciate any advice on:

Where to buy these parts in Europe or the UK

Any online shops or suppliers still selling them

Whether it’s better to source the kit piece by piece or as a full set

Experiences with replica kits (fitment, quality, issues)

Or if the only realistic option now is second-hand parts or forums

I’m trying to keep the car OEM+ style without spending crazy money or chasing impossible rare parts.

Any help or links would be really appreciated!!

New users notice

https://civic5.com/forum/topic/15100-new-users-notice/?do=findComment&comment=326679

So, it seems that admin notifications haven't been getting sent out by the system when new users have registered, meaning there's been 150 user registrations awaiting approval.

A while ago we had to change the setup to require users to be approved manually because we were getting a ton of fake accounts with spam posts and dodgy links.

Been working through approvals, with newest registrations first, with about 100 left to go. There'll be some older posts appear from new users who've posted but it's not appeared due to the approval being stuck.

I am writing this topic hoping that someone can help me out.
I have a MB3 from 1997 that is in my family since.
I am now, slowly, trying to bring it back to a newer state. I have the manuals, the tools and the love to work on it and everything was working well until now.
I have changed the front upper arm, front shocks, outer steering, ball joints, all front bushings at lastly cv boots.
Note that the CV boots were changed because they were starting to rip but had no holes.
Now that I have changed everything it started to make a noise while turning the wheel left and right. while stopped and while moving.
It is not the clicking noise that bad outer cv makes as the bearings are bad. It just sounds like a plastic drag sound or a 1 time grind. It is very strange. Almost as when you it a bump whitout shocks.
What can it be? where did I failed or what should I check? I know there is a small loose in the inner steering but just a small one, not even 1 inch, that was already before all the changes I made.
Also I note that the cv axle while in jack stands goes in and out a bit but they are both locked in the transmission and in the wheel. I do not know if it is normal.
Can someone help me? I am just sad as I changed everything and know I have a sound that I had not before.
Thank you all for the support you provide in this forum.

	Need some advice here.

My car doesn’t have AC and from factory it also didn’t come with any cabin/pollen filter. The problem is when I turn the blower on (basically my “highway AC”), I get dust and pollen blowing straight into the cabin.

I’ve got pretty severe allergies, so this is becoming a real issue.

I’ve been looking around and found that some non-AC models actually have optional pollen filters.

	So I’m wondering:

Has anyone here added a cabin/pollen filter to a car that didn’t originally have one?
Any recommendations for filter? I found these: https://www.norauto.pt/p/filtro-de-habitaculo-blueprint-adh22502-688847.html and https://www.norauto.pt/p/filtro-de-habitaculo-filtron-k1017-571378.html

Appreciate any tips or experiences 👍

Honda front strut brace (74300-SR3-010) experience?

https://civic5.com/forum/topic/15032-honda-front-strut-brace-74300-sr3-010-experience/?do=findComment&comment=326429

I found one for sale. Its supposedly the original universal Honda front strut bar, that is supposed to fit on the MB as well. I have an MB3, and it doesnt have the holes pre-drilled for mounting it, so i'd have to drill them myself. Anyone have any experience with it, and could give me tips on whether its worth it or not? I know I've never been what you'd call an active poster, but I've always had some great support & advice offered in years gone by, it would seem the forum has gone silent though, I've posted up a couple of requests in the SOS section which have been up for some time with no replies, I must admit I have asked more questions than I have been able to answer as I'm not the most mechanically gifted individual.

Each time I've been on in the last week I've noted I am the only member online, just guest users, has everyone abandoned the forum in favor of the dreaded social media? heck I'm on facebook myself in a few civic groups, but the platform is fairly useless when it comes to information & guides as well as the real community atmosphere you get on the forum(s), I've seen it with other interest forums I use in hobbies, a massive decline in traffic & active members.

I really hope we don't forget these forums are the backbone of our hobbies, social media is not the be all & end all, all the instant gratification is short lived.

I hope we can see this place more active again going forward & if anyone has some advice on my SOS threads I'd surely appreciate any help anyone could offer.

Cracked window trims - how to get them off without damage question

https://civic5.com/forum/topic/15013-cracked-window-trims-how-to-get-them-off-without-damage-question/?do=findComment&comment=326356

Cracked window trims - how to get them off without damage question, so as per the title, I have 3 civics now MB2/MB9 & MC1, 2 of them have the usual cracked window trims, the ones at the base of the side windows & I would like to take them off, de moss them & get them stripped & painted as they are an eye saw.

I read another thread in the how to section which suggested facing the car, gripping them & pulling back toward yourself & not to loose the clips in the process, but I can't seem to find any useful guides with photos or videos.

From what I have read on here so far, this is not quite as simple as one would like & it's quite easy to damage/bend them in the process, any pointers would be very greatly appreciated before I go f$$k s**t up
