  1. I'm in the process of finding some alloys for the MB, I'm looking at the following wheels, I'm looking at 15x9 ET-0 (and I know that "ET0 won't fit") but I have plans to remedy that.. The next stage is to choose White, Black or Silver as the chosen colour.. I did a little bit of photoshopping RPF1's onto a black VTI I found on Google, The RPF1 is a great looking wheel but not wide enough for my plans. The toss up now is between Rota Kyusha, J-MAG, Alecia or Ultralite UL48/Traklite Holeshot's at the moment. The Ultralites are my current forerunning wheel but a bit of input and fresh opinion might be cool!
  2. Does anyone know if these will fit the mb6 been offered them for free
  3. Anyone fitted a blox intake themselves is there a hoe to anywhere

  6. I've been looking around for a little bit of information but the main info I've found is related to the MB6 VTI-S.. I have a 1.4 Sport MB (MB3 / MB8 depending on who you speak too!) it has Half leathers, AC, PAS, Leather stitched wheel (did until I yanked it out for a Vertex wheel), Electric Windows (front), Electric Mirrors (adjust & Heat), carbon-look trim around knob, grills etc, Leather stitched honda gear knob. Now apart from the MB6 which has 99% the same interior I have found, what other differences across the range have what? I know theres that wood/tortoise shell looking trim option too but wondered if there was anything exclusive to the VTIS/VTI/Sport? and I was lead to believe the VTIS was the only model in Pirated black, Theres a 1.6 VTEC MB round the corner in PB, doesn't have wing or anything like the trim, has stock fabric seats, no AC yet the colour is definitely black that flips into purple as PB does.. Ideas?
  7. Hey! Has any of you heard or had any MAXGEAR wheel bearings? http://maxgear.pl/product-range-drive-o106.en.html I can get those for 30 Euros (rear axle) from webstore. Others are: Japanparts at 47 Euros. BTA 52 euros, OPTIMAL 78 Euros. SKF 75 euros (supposedly OEM quality). What wheel bearings should i get? Have any of you heard of any of those brands? How much would you pay for that part yourself?
  8. Found this badboy for sale 200bhp and not even a ecu, does have an earthing kit tho
  9. i've heard MB6 has thicker front (26mm?) and rear (18mm?) swaybars than "normal" Civics. Where can i find bushings? I'm looking at Energy suspension ones (i prefer polyurethane if possible). Where should i buy them? I could'nt find 18mm rear from energy suspension which would be direct fit. http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/16.5110 Can that fit rear for MB6? I'ts meant for front but tha size is correct. Is it possible to fit front sway bushes to rear? They shouldn't be that different, right? Both are D-shaped right?http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/16.5130 I found this for front. But the rear is questionable. And i should find those from European store to spare in customs and shipping costs... I need quick answers. I can find those part numbers from AKR perfomance (30e shipping costs)
  10. So I've fitted Meister R's to my mb3. My issue is the lca bolts, they seem a bit short. I understand that my mb3 (1998 D15Z8) uses EG length lca's but use an EK size strut bush. (Please correct if wrong) I followed the diagram provided by Meister using the washers and spacers for the EK set up. Using both the spacers and washers left me with about 5mm of bolt to thread a securing nut onto. I've had to remove the washers and just use the spacers which sit inside the fork and I've managed to thread a locking nut onto the bolt by about 10mm, but it doesn't exactly look reassuring. Ideally, I need a bolt that's another 20mm longer, any help is much appreciated.
  11. A bit odd topic perhaps but bear with me Does it matter to you guys what kind of wiper blades you use? I think that especially in older cars (pre 2000's mainly) it can make some difference like having nice set of wheels. Small detail of the car but still. Now i've been looking for Sumex Stainless steel wiper blades (chrome). Seen lots of those in british web stores (Ebay, Amazon). Since lots of those are sold by UK stores i wonder if they fit left hand drive vehicles? Since the wiper blades goes reversely. Anyway i used to have Ashuki spoiler wiper blades in my old -88 CRX and they looked pretty nice. Blended in nicely. Not too showy but okay addition in terms of style and practicality. I loved the design. Simple and good looking like the old Hondas from late 80's. Decided to bring this issue up just because im curious if anyone in general pays any attention to such details. Or is too ricy Sumex: Ashuki:

  16. Hello guys, Found a guy who has just moved to lowering springs and is selling his old ones - they are from a coupe - here is a pic: From what I've found so far - all springs are interchangeable but some of them have different spring rates. Will the springs from this coupe work on a MB2 5 door? Thanks in advance.
  17. I want to change my mb6 coilovers I cannot find one to change it. Is the EK coilovers will fit on mb6, so many type on eBay which model or parts is right for the mb6, what I need to care of I heard that the EK coilovers need a top mount nuts to go with it, where can I get the nuts from? Help if anyone know where I can get from eBay please send me the link, just in case I get the wrong one. (I don't want Koni coilovers because too low)

  20. Hello. First things first, my front windscreen has a great big crack on the left hand side. starts at the edge of where the tax disc would normally be and then goes up to about halfway up the windscreen. And with lots of little scratches here and there actually getting the whole lot replaced would be a nice thing. Not sure if it can be fixed anyways... And the rear windscreen... My car came with the ugly windscreen brake light (black box thing) which I want to remove, especially since it also came with the little spoiler with brake light. Unfortunately, two big holes were made/drilled to fit the brake box thing so can't fully remove it. I've taken it off but it's left two big black circle things which are fugly. So... How much would I be looking at to replace both windscreens, easy enough to do yourself or let the pro's do it? Or would I be better off trying to find a boot+windscreen for my civic in the correct colour? And do you think the crack could actually be replaced, but then what about all those scratches everywhere which actually cause quite a bit of glare in sunlight/heavy rain... Pirates black mb3...
  21. Hi Everyone i am posting here as i assume most folks look here the most and want to inform everyone of the dangers of these LCA'S i bought some of the Purple SKunk2 Style LCA's about a year back now for my MB6 VTIS when i purchase my meister Rs, they were actually sold at the time as genuine skunk 2 ones until i complained, the sellers are from ebay so it was my own silly decision to keep them and not send them back and against the advice of Scott at H-Tune i thought merrrrrr how back can they be. went under my car today and mind my civic has been off the road aabout a year straight after i fitted them my engine went pop, the cars been covered over and the bushes greased heavily. the bushes are about f**kced already my car now sounds like a shopping trolly going down the road so in a word WASTED MY MONEY! these a substandard units and are dangerous sh1t these are the ones i bought: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skunk2-style-RED-LCA-Lower-control-arm-HONDA-CIVIC-EG-CRX-DC2-INTEGRA-MB6-/222152112827?hash=item33b94c3abb:g:j1EAAOSw1vlUtyxI sellers Honda_Power89 anything that says something "style" stay the hell away from as its now inconvenieced me massively....................buy genuine from H-tune its expensive but good. these have only covered around 3-4k on my car since fitting and already the bushes are knackered OEM time for me!
  22. When I had my Impreza, I did a pretty intense Nexus 7 install. It would be a waste not to be able to use it again. I was wondering if there are any double-din centre consoles out there I can buy?
  23. Rover 400 The Civic Conversion Project I was working on my Impreza, when I decided I was going to get a cheap run-around while I took it off the road to do some work on it. I bought a Rover 400 for £200. I knew nothing about the cars, and had no idea it was even a turbo (As it wasn't listed as one on eBay). It was far too slow to be a turbo, but when I tried to insure it, they insisted it was a turbo model. After some inspection of the engine, I realised it was in fact a turbo, and I was then very interested in getting a bit more power and torque from the engine. I looked at some pictures of modified Rover 400's and they actually look half decent. It was then, I wanted to upgrade some of the body work, such as the facelift MG ZS rear end which has a flush boot lid. Somehow, I discovered that the Rover 400 shared exactly the same chassis as the Honda Civic MB 5 door, and that's when I decided to do a full exterior conversion. When I was able to get my hands on a rolling shell, I figured I'd also swap over the interior. The Rover 400 has a grey and wood effect interior, which is a bit too "grandad-esque" for my liking. As you can see from the image, the interior is exactly the same. Rover 400 Interior: Honda Civic MB Interior: Of course, it wouldn't be right to have an 86bhp car that looked fast, so I'll also be doing some engine tuning. Being that this is a mechanical injection mode, digital tuning such as tuning boxes and remapping is not possible. So I will be upping the fuel intake, fitting an intercooler, and fitting a new model turbo charger. The engine already has SDi injectors capable of increased fueling. I'm probably looking at increasing the power to around 130-150, with tons more torque. I'm picking up the Civic shell on Saturday, so stay tuned for updates.
