  1. Will they stuck out from fenders/arches? They are already rolled and pulled by previous owner. I don't wan't any camber adjustments. Bad for tires, wallet and winter conditions. Previous owner had Japan Racing JR3 wheels with et 20-22 in the back (17x9). Sure they stuck out lil bit but it was okay with stretched tires. I'm looking at these: http://www.nlmotoring.com/Avid-1-AV-12-Wheels-16x8-Gold-p/av121680ma25gd.htm 16x8 Offset [+25mm] (I would pick 15's but can't find those locally with 114 and et25 fitment). I wonder if such "deep dish" wheels fit MB6 without camber adjustments? I mean ET 25 should be manageable if those JR3's fitted, right? But does wheel design affect how much it actually comes outwards? I've seen some EK and EG Civics with those wheels and they struggle i guess. Looks good on those but MB6 have stock ET of 55 vs. other Civics 40-45. Fenders and arches are pulled out as much as they can i'd say. Does anyone here have experience on fitting similar style wheels on MB6 without camber adjustments? Does pulled fenders and mild stretched tires solve it? Another problem i fear is caliper clearance in the front... Bigger calipers than stock Civics. If it needs spacers bigger than 3mm. i think it's a "no go" then. Assuming they would fit, what tire profile would be the best? I have now stock 15's and lowered car pretty much in the same level as wheels (stanced/slammed some would possibly say ).
  2. I was wondering if this kit would fit our models. I think the bushings in the control arm will, but the one that connects to the subframe is a litte bit diffirent. http://www.all4honda.com/en/webshop/72-integra-1995-2000/93-suspension/932-pu-rubbers/hardrace-control-arm-bushings-front-lower-civic-del-sol-integra-details.html And I was looking for winter wheels and saw a set of a honda accord. These are 15" 4x114 and et50. But I don't know if there's gonna be enough clearance for the 282 brakes in the front.
  3. So, I more than likely need to change pretty much most of the bushing son the car. I know the busing on the rear lca's are pretty much fubar so want to replace them asap and then have a look at the others. Am I right in thinking that these will fit but are also considered to be pretty good in terms of stiffening the chassis up, etc? Pros and cons? http://www.tegiwaimports.com/select-car/honda/eg/suspension/energy-suspension-hyper-flex-poly-bush-kit-civic-eg-92-95.htmlhttp://www.tegiwaimports.com/select-car/honda/eg/suspension/energy-suspension-hyper-flex-poly-bush-kit-civic-eg-92-95.html Using mg zs shocks with oem lcas and eibach springs... If there's somewhere I could buy the bushing for the lca alone that'd be great but wouldn't be surprised if buying them from Honda would be almost as much as the entire kit linked? Sorry for the masses of posts lately... Just want to make sure I do things right Oh and if someone could point out to me where to buy an input shaft bearing for my civic that'd be great... Other than ringing Honda up. Oh and I remember reading somewhere that they have to be black otherwise it wouldn't pass an mot? Is that correct?

    Wheel fitment

Hi! I'm about to fit my wheels outer a bit with spacer. BUT... its possible on rear, that arch is cutted short... on the front... its already scrubbing when turning left or right and theroad is a bit bad. So, how to make nice fitment, get the wheels out to line of the arch? pictures, ideas, tips? I need around 10mm i think, but Idont want to dent my front fender arch :\ pics about current setup:
  5. HI, Recently got some MG ZS shocks. However, the bolt holding one of the rear shocks is seized on and the bolt is now rounded. Thought the easiest way would be to just replace the LCAs completely. Either by getting a second hand one or buying new ones entirely... It's an MB3. Which LCAs do I go for, where do I buy? AND if I was to upgrade to an MB6 later one, are they also the same fit? And where do I source new bolts?
  6. Does anyone by any chance know where I could get rear trailing arm bushes? mine look a bit old and everytime someone sits in the back something squeeks over bumps? so I'm looking for bushes that will last long or could be polybush ones I'm not fussy. cheers! (civic mb6)
  7. So I've fitted Meister R's to my mb3. My issue is the lca bolts, they seem a bit short. I understand that my mb3 (1998 D15Z8) uses EG length lca's but use an EK size strut bush. (Please correct if wrong) I followed the diagram provided by Meister using the washers and spacers for the EK set up. Using both the spacers and washers left me with about 5mm of bolt to thread a securing nut onto. I've had to remove the washers and just use the spacers which sit inside the fork and I've managed to thread a locking nut onto the bolt by about 10mm, but it doesn't exactly look reassuring. Ideally, I need a bolt that's another 20mm longer, any help is much appreciated.
  8. i've heard MB6 has thicker front (26mm?) and rear (18mm?) swaybars than "normal" Civics. Where can i find bushings? I'm looking at Energy suspension ones (i prefer polyurethane if possible). Where should i buy them? I could'nt find 18mm rear from energy suspension which would be direct fit. http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/16.5110 Can that fit rear for MB6? I'ts meant for front but tha size is correct. Is it possible to fit front sway bushes to rear? They shouldn't be that different, right? Both are D-shaped right?http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/16.5130 I found this for front. But the rear is questionable. And i should find those from European store to spare in customs and shipping costs... I need quick answers. I can find those part numbers from AKR perfomance (30e shipping costs)
  9. Hey! Has any of you heard or had any MAXGEAR wheel bearings? http://maxgear.pl/product-range-drive-o106.en.html I can get those for 30 Euros (rear axle) from webstore. Others are: Japanparts at 47 Euros. BTA 52 euros, OPTIMAL 78 Euros. SKF 75 euros (supposedly OEM quality). What wheel bearings should i get? Have any of you heard of any of those brands? How much would you pay for that part yourself?
  10. Hello guys, Found a guy who has just moved to lowering springs and is selling his old ones - they are from a coupe - here is a pic: From what I've found so far - all springs are interchangeable but some of them have different spring rates. Will the springs from this coupe work on a MB2 5 door? Thanks in advance.
  11. Another project on the go this will be setup for track use. Honda Integra DC2 Type R 98 spec What it looked like when we picked it up More to come
  12. Hi guys, my aerodeck has some skunk2 lcas from a dc2 integra. They aren't the fork type rear shocks that are usually fitted to mbs etc. Will the mgzs arb or mb6 arb still fit with these lcas? There is a tapped hole on the lcas. cheers
  13. right anyone wanting poly bushes but don't want to get raped for em. use http://www.strongflexuk.co.uk/ they usually take about a week to arrive but are good quality and cheaper than most other places! they also have a category for our cars!!
  14. Hi Everyone i am posting here as i assume most folks look here the most and want to inform everyone of the dangers of these LCA'S i bought some of the Purple SKunk2 Style LCA's about a year back now for my MB6 VTIS when i purchase my meister Rs, they were actually sold at the time as genuine skunk 2 ones until i complained, the sellers are from ebay so it was my own silly decision to keep them and not send them back and against the advice of Scott at H-Tune i thought merrrrrr how back can they be. went under my car today and mind my civic has been off the road aabout a year straight after i fitted them my engine went pop, the cars been covered over and the bushes greased heavily. the bushes are about f**kced already my car now sounds like a shopping trolly going down the road so in a word WASTED MY MONEY! these a substandard units and are dangerous sh1t these are the ones i bought: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skunk2-style-RED-LCA-Lower-control-arm-HONDA-CIVIC-EG-CRX-DC2-INTEGRA-MB6-/222152112827?hash=item33b94c3abb:g:j1EAAOSw1vlUtyxI sellers Honda_Power89 anything that says something "style" stay the hell away from as its now inconvenieced me massively....................buy genuine from H-tune its expensive but good. these have only covered around 3-4k on my car since fitting and already the bushes are knackered OEM time for me!
  15. Hi i have a pair of rear complete suspension leg for sale. These came off a 1999 Honda civic 1.8 vtis mb6 . These are in fully working order as new upgraded ones were fitted on. Open to offers if anyone interested.
  16. My boy presses down on his toy cars so much he gives them all crazy camber.
  17. Need some help , I understand my aerodeck currently sits upon the mg zs suspension setup , however I want to replace but not lose the ride height , will a coilover set provide me with at least this ride height (with a firmer setup) or am I going to need to look elsewhere ? I know it sounds silly but im confused.
  18. Hi. I've swapped the standard honda suspension on my aerodeck for the mgzs set up. Now it's not great suspension a bit mushy. I'm looking at fitting lowering springs so at least it'll look good. Might stiffen it up as well. My question is which lowering springs. I can't seam to find much for the mgzs. What is there out there tried and tested. Putting honda specific lowering springs onto mg shocks doesn't make sense to me as it's a set of springs designed for a different set of dampers than the mg ones. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not going to spend a fortune on meisters etc. I'm not building a track car just something decent for daily use while I build a proper rwd track car. Cheers. Nathan

    Springs question

Hi guys, got a set of lowering springs for my deck that a now surplus to requirements, will they work on any other model? Just want to know so I can put them up for sale without stitching anyone up.
  20. I bought a set of springs and shocks for my mb2 1.5vtec and they give a ride similar to oe springs and shocks as the rates are follows Damper rates are:0.3301 m/s velocity75mmFronts12-1300 nm rebound700 nm bumpRears750 nm rebound600 nm bump If someone could change these into kgs instead of nm so i have a better idea what the damper rates are as i dont work in nm as i dont have a clue about that side of things as its kgs etc i work in.
  21. What is the best way to access the big RTA bushes without taking the arm completely off? I have seen a YouTube video where they drop the back end by undoing a few bolts and making sure the brake hose is not stretched too far but have also read a suggestion of simply taking off the 'bolt at the front' and the handbrake cable bolt which sounds easier. Which bolt at the front would that be; the inner or outer one (I think the inner is the toe adjustment so maybe not that one but perhaps the outer is not accessible?) and has anyone done the job by just removing the 'front' bolt and handbrake bolts only? (obviously in both cases the two bushing bolts have to come out).

    Strutbraces... What fits?

I'm looking for a front/back strutbrace to fit the MB I bought, I know the MB shares alot of parts with other Honda's so I'm wondering if something is cross compatible like off a DC2 etc The DC2 and EG upper/lower lca's, ARBs, coilovers, arms, wishbones all fit the MB as far as I can remember... So I wonder if the DC2's upper strut points are the same width apart...
  23. Found a great deal on a set of -40mm mb springs on the intranet tonight and I'm tempted to order them up. Problem is I plan to upgrade to mg zs 180 shocks in the future but I'm sure in the past I came across some info saying this -40mmMBspring/MGshock setup combined will end up in a total drop of 55mm??? I'll be running 15" wheels and want to keep it usable for everyday mundane family tasks so will this setup be any use? Cheers.
