  1. As you've seen else where the aerodeck has moved on to a new home. I was hoping to keep the deck and run it side by side with the crv but I was unable to find anywhere to store it. Anyway the new car. It's a 2005 Honda CR-V sport 2.0 auto 84k FSH and was a locally supplied car when new. It's a completely different drive to the deck. I've nicknamed it "the armchair" cos that is how comfy it is to drive. Pictures. Old and new... It's even got a table The powerplant It's Honda's K20a4 producing 150bhp, it pulls rather well and is well suited to the gearbox. 75mph is 3000rpm The gearbox is a 4spd auto with lock up torque converter. Matched with the Cruse control it makes for a lazy drive..
  2. Now Just need to get my springs on ,45mm be alright?

  4. I have decided to start a new thread instead of adding it to my old one. After going for so long with out my MA8 that I loved I have finally found a replacement to continue my story with I have been searching for years for one the same colour it has taken me a while to find one, but now I finally have another MA and I’m so happy Ihave missed owning one of these special cars I traveled all the way to Kent from Birmingham to buy this car and I must say she’s a good un I’m the 3rd owner and she has service history etc.I’m going to try and make her look like my old MA8 pictures to follow soon
  5. 1998 Honda Civic Aerodeck B18C4 - Koni Sportkit -35mm and adjustable stiffness - Sportline lipkit - 16†Zero ZE04-rims with 205/45 Falken-tyres - for the winter 15†League 273’s with 195/55 Continentals - Tinted windows - Custom headlights - Custom grille - Red brake calipers up front - De-badged - Removed the headlight washers - Indiglo dials from Moman - Mugen pedals - Tenzo-R shift knob - Simoni Racing floor mats Greetings from the north, this is my second aerodeck. My first car was a MB8 that i bought in July 2008 but in march 2009 i couldn't resist anymore, took a loan and got myself the car that i had wanted in the first place, the MC2. It wasn't in the best possible condition when i got it and still needs lots of work, but slowly and surely it's starting to turn into what i hope one day will be the lowest, fastest and baddest Aerodeck in Finland. I just got my winter rims from Alloywheels.com and got them installed, i'll post pictures of the new look soon. I have lots planned for my deck... i'll keep you updated on the progress.
  6. Hi everyone So after selling my Aerodeck and regretting it for the past 1 year and 2 months I have finally found myself another Pirates Black VTI Aerodeck. Really happy with the purchase . I will be getting it home today. 137K mileage with some paperwork showing work done for last few MoTs. I will get full service and Cambelt changed soon. Just a few pics from the seller for now. Wonder if anyone on here has owned it in the past?
  7. Browsing ebay and found this. Looks amazing condition with only 18.000 miles on the clock, two owners from new. Very hard to find one like this, but don't think I could justify.........£6495 for an MB6! Still, would love to own this. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Civic-1-8-VTI-Very-Low-Mileage-ONLY-18K-Service-History-Lot-of-paperwork/233074530457?hash=item3644531899:g:VQUAAOSwTY9buQTO:rk:4:pf:0 Pic of the car
  8. Hi new to the forum, picked up this mb6 totally standard apart from coilover a month ago and since then I've added an omp wheel and quick release, new carpets, added an aem induction kit, aluminium rad and red coolant hoses, decat, custom spark plug cover, bonnet raisers and few wee tidy up bits, I've owned a few hondas before this, had am ej6 civic coupe with a b18c4 conversion and also owned an accord type r, but its quite a clean mb6 so don't want to do to much to it or anything done it can be put back, but interested in probably one of the most asked questions of making the custom projector headlights? And looking a nice set of alloys, recommendations? Thanks
  9. So here's my little new MB3 on its summer wheels that normally were on my ED9. Need to lower it though, 215/40 R16 are looking very tiny. Bought it for 500€ last June with 192.000km and a nearly broken transmission. Luckily a used but functional one and 8 wheels (OEM alloys and some steels) were in the back so i just had to replace the gearbox and also put a brand new clutch in it for 450€ total in a honda workshop. It's now at 206.000km and it's still going without any problems. Looks like i made a good deal for under 1000€. Also it's in lovely Pirates Black and has this nice little wing, gorgeous!
  10. Well my aerodeck will be back on the road next month and I cant stop looking into boosting it. so I'm getting to grips with everything I'm going to need for the build. 11. Hello, this is my Mb9 D15z8, bouth the van with 240k now with 241 , weekend and wife transport, the engine changes the noise a bit when warm , i am now trying to figure wy, any ideas? its difficult here to get the vti´s fender kit, any for sale? Thank you
  12. As you all probably know iv bought burbleboys vti-s and very happy with it glad to be back in a Honda. Plans are to just drive it for a while as it's already sorted, save for a turbo kit next summer (possibly!) taking fly-eyes off as there just not my thing.
  13. Hello!! So, I have a 1998 Honda Civic 1.5i LS VTEC-2 5 door hatch (MB3). I need to replace the air filter and I want to buy a sporty one, I know it won't make pretty much any difference besides being more thirsty for fuel but... I want to try the thing is, I've settled for the K&N 33-2047 and I need to know if this model will fit my car. K&N's official website says it'll fit, but a lady in the website I want to buy it from says it won't. So, will the K&N 33-2047 fit my car (D15Z8)??? And if it doesn't, Can you recommend me a sporty air filter to improve the sound and hopefully increase 1 or to 2 HP??? (NO cold air intakes plase). Thanks in advance!
  14. Hello there guys and girls, my name Is Mark Gompertz and I am sort of new to the Honda scene. I've just found this forum so thought I'd introduce myself and make a thread to upload progress pictures up! So to start off.. I picked up this little big beauty from a car auction site (copart) for a fair price! Intentionally bought it to take its running gear out and put in my old micra! () But as soon as I sat in and started playing with its little gadgets like the air con, light dimmer switch, electric Windows and electric sunroof, half leather interior, seeing how much boot space there was! And then I drove it.. It was such a smooth, responsive car that handled amazingly with that LSD differential, and then you put your foot down and stuff happens! The b18c4 engine ran like it had just left the factory even being on 138,000 miles. I fell in love with it that day. (The light dimmer switch was what won me over...) The previous owner had put on a private plate and left it still assigned to the car V37 NAM which looks a bit like Vietnam which is where the the name has came from! I've had a few people mention it to me in the street like "hey it says Vietnam haha!" It's comical and brightens my day ! Lol Back to the present! 7 months and 10,000 miles have passed by and I have fiddled with a few things modification wise.. I've put bucket seats and a harness in (ran out of gas to weld brackets for the passenger harness) I've ghetto lowered it, but will buy some coilovers when I get the funds! some mega wide 16" junk dregs on with a little amount of stretch on the back, I've put rear camber bolts in to make the rear wheels legal, running something like 4-5 deg of camber ive put on vtis front and rear bumpers and side skirts as my standard bumpers were a bit battered and fogs were bus and they had the lips still on ive stripped out the interior from the back seats to the boot ive cut out slots in the bumper do reduce all that drag added a HONDA sunstrip which is mega race car HID's team heko wind deflectors red cam cover purply pink led sidelights bumper ties rear tie bar and tow hook engine wise I've put a skunk2 pro inlet manifold on, s2000 air filter, Magnacore HT leads, new OEM Honda stem seals and other various stem seals when I put a new head gasket on i got a hole of a ram horn exhaust manifold from a friend of mine that was on his b18 CR-X! my initial plan was to make a full front to back system, but.. I'm not a very subtle type of person so as you can see from the pictures I went for a bumper exit! 4-1 to a stainless 9 degree 3" bend and a 3" straight pipe to the bumper, it sounds pretty mega up the revs and pulled a lot better than when I had the standard system onł Took her to Japshow 2016 on the Micra Sports Club stand Monster truck mode enabled! At my local track on Anglesey, Trac Mon. And then I finally got round to lowering it! Also put in HID's in and took the roof bars off Sunstrip and sticker from when I went on Anglesey track! Red cam cover, s2000 filter and skunk 2 pro inlet manifold, bit of a mess but it looks a lot more tidy now I got rid of the unnessasary hoses and the IAB canister and cabon canister i picked up this exhaust manifold from a friend, had a crack in port no.4 that needed welding up which I got my dad to do as he is amazing at fiddly welding jobs and always manages to make it look neat What the system looks like in full here it is on the car! Pretty much all visable when you take the bumper off which is easy with the bumper ties As you'd expect it is quite loud.. I will be putting a silencer in the middle of the pipe from just after the bend to just before the inside of the bumper soon but it's not my main priority at the moment it pops when you tickle the throttle on overdrive at 2k revs which is fun, and sounds like a racing bike at around 6-8k Ive ordered some exhaust Spring hooks so that the collectors are tight together as I have a slight blow coming from the join, and will put some exhaust paste around to seal In the past couple days I have spaced up the bonnet 20mm and put in purpely pink led sidelights which are pretty And to bring this massive introduction of myself and Vietnam to a close (until I post up here next, the most recent mod I have done is swap over the faces from a set of integra clocks I acquired off eBay for a bargain price, and stuck them to my OEM dials, and pt in the yellow needles, still need to do the temp and fuel gauges and change the colour of the illumination lights but once it's all done it'll be great! I hope you enjoy my pretty much DIY/ghetto build, I'll be uploading pictures and some videos from now on, some of you may already know me and I already know a couple but it's nice to meet you all and fingers crossed I meet you guys at some meets /shows! Peace! -Mark
  15. I've just came across a guy selling an engine with a b16 head on a b18 block has anyone ever had experience with this setup any pros/cons to look out for cause I think I'm buying it PS would s80 gearbox go with this setup and possibly a p28 ecu all to go in my ej8
  16. Since I joined Civic5 and started seeing all the nice Ms I have wanted to have a VTI deck in Pirates Black but due to financial reasons and the price they would be selling for I was unable to fulfil my dream..The other morning I went on Auto Trader just to have a look as usual with no plans of buying a Car..but as I searched for Honda Civic Estates I saw this ad of someone selling a Pirates Black one in Birmingham so me and mrs. decided to go have a look at the car..but as soon as we saw it we knew we have to buy it..so I took it for a test drive and loved it..It's done 136k..Completely standard..2 Previous owners and the last owner had it for 8 years..and it's evident that he looked after it and didn't abuse the car..There is no rust anywhere..some swirls and minor scratches on the paintwork but nothing major..I am very happy and excited to have this car and looking forward to some nice changes Pictures from the ad. I haven't taken any yet..but tomorrow morning if the weather is nice I will take some more

  18. Hi everyone, some of you may remember me who had the silver Honda civic with the lensos. My car thread name was " My little mb2". Well i would have done this a lot sooner but i forgot my password for this site and only just sorted it out again so i can catch up on a lot of stuff I've missed and to start this thread on here on my new motor. I've not got a Honda Prelude 2.2vti which i swapped with my dad; he has now got the mb2. Unfortunately he didn't really look after the lude and the usual rust on the arches. So the first thing I did was give it a good old service , and then spent some good money getting the bodywork back to a decent standard. I purchased a good exhaust system with a 4-2-1 japspeed manifold decatted. Along with projector headlights from the states, new ep3 steering wheel and the vti bodykit. I then for the first time purchases some brand new jr racing alloys for the car which I love. 9.5 j at the back and 8.25 on the fronts. Took the car on the dyno and impressed me with a printout of 209bhp . i have probably have forgotten loads but will be adding to this thread as much as I can
