HELP - no v-tec (MB6)

Question

HI guys

i have lost v-tec on my MB6

oil level is fine

yes car is warmed up before trying v-tec ( had other honda's and an ATR before )

no EML on

 

no i havn't done paperclip test yet - as no EML on

 

just after any help/tips/advice on what it coulb be

It depends what you're after mate. The C4 has more power and tq standard as well as having a higher ceiling to do mods on because of the displacement. What you want to bear in mind is that the A2 only feels quicker because it makes awful power below vtec so it kicks in really hard. The end goal for properly tuned motors is not to even feel a vtec crossover because at that point your car is entering vtec just as the high cam starts making more power than the low cam. For noise, everyone above has got it bang on.

That's because the c4 ain't Jdm and they won't be able to have a Jdm sticker if they run a c4

They were all made in Swindon anyway and then shipped over to Japan so none should really have a JDM sticker :lol:
