Hi, I tried looking in the forum but cant seem to find any other thread about this..

Soo recently my MB6's heater wont get hot anymore, the drivers side side vent gets kinda warmer, but it just stays cold in general.. anyone know what might cause this ?

Engine temperature is normal, and gets warm in normal time, soo really have no idea what it is :D

It could be the heater matrix, an airlock in the cooling system. Does the fan work on all speeds? Normally the poor heater would point to the cooling system, usually a faulty thermostat.

Yeah it works on all speeds, and thats what I would think aswell the fualty thermostat, but the engine temperature goes up like it should and stays at normal temperature so I really dont know what it could be :(

Really strange one mate. I'd try a new thermostat as they're cheap anyways, see if that cures it. If not, my be more complicated to suss out.

Be worth checking heater valve on the hose going into bulkhead. Very primitive. Thin cable on a plaggy valve normally. Check the cable moves when turning dial an that valve opens as it should.

May also be beneficial to check your pollen filter and housing ducts for leaves etc.

@KiNK43 @Gel Superb answers chaps! hadn't even thought of that! I'd do both the above checks before messing with the thermostat mate. Most probably find it's one of those!
