LoloV gate....

Had the Volvo in for a passenger front bearing change.

Unfortunately on the way to dismantling it they snapped the control arm.

10 am part ordered.

3:30pm I turn up to have a nose and see if I could rake it away and the parts company had sent the wrong side.

The parts company was shouted at and a the correct bit was imminent.

4:50pm car still on ramp!

4:55pm car still on ramp! NO PART!

4:58pm parts van seen flying through trading estate.

4:59pm mechanic phones head office  (of the company the garage is part of)

Part delivery had been deposited there.

5:02pm mechanice drives to head office to collect part.

5:06pm mehanic arrives back at garage

5:10pm part fitted

5:12pm wheel back on

5:15pm I'm backing the car out of garage!!

Shoulda bought a Honda

Sat in the Accord tourer the other day, the inerior plastics are p**s poor compared to the Volvo!

The engine is much quieter though, but has far less grunt!

Swings and roundabouts.

But I only drive it about 12 miles a week!

Looks nice Thomas, did you buy that from Bristol by any chance as the garage looks familiar to me.
