Unlike my Civic, the Volvo passed its MOT first time, just an advisory on the front wish bone bushes. 

 

For half term, I did something I've not done for 20 years, we left the county.

 

So, over 500 miles driven down to the south of France for a weeks holiday and then 500 miles back up France the Volvo was superb!

And it's in the Garage again, costing some money! 

 

Meanwhile we have borrowed Nextdoor CRV diesel and it's nice, feels cheap compared to the Volvo mind!

That's what I meant, prices new I think the CRV would be cheaper. Jap cars aren't as refined.
