Horn upgrade....what one??

Question

I'm looking to de-gay the horn on my civic, I know a few people have covered this in other threads but they don't state what horns they've bought.....I haven't got a clue about car horns and specs (if that's even a thing). Would love to hear what people have purchased, any links would be much appreciated.

Not looking for anything overkill, would just like to get rid of the "excuse me sir can you please move" tone of the horn and give it a bit more bark.

Cheers people.

Was ages ago when i did mine... Think it was a European sports car horn or something like that.

Pretty sure that I just had to snip the old one off and used crimp connectors to fit the new one. :)

I guess that any horn would work?

@philgor had a different horn as well.. He might remember more than me.

I have the twin Bosch horn setup out of my old Micra SR turbo that doesn't sound half bad TBH and most scrap yards have a Micra in

Other than that there are Ring or Hella who make decent products about £15-25 which are used in everything from OEM to WRC :)

Yeah... I miss those horns!

I had a set of ring airhorns... They were epic fun! Untill they filled up with water japfest 2014.... Much to the amusement of everyone!
