Question

Guest Rutger

Hi,

i was driving on the highway and suddenly drove in a cloud of white smoke. I stopped but couldn't see any lose hoses or ruptures in the radiator. I got it towed back to my house where today i noticed that my cooling fan doesn't engage.

I'm going to replace te motor and housing. Any tips on replacements/upgrades?

grtz

Try first the fuse.

Then the relay.

Then replace the motor,  mine was blowing the fuse ever time it engaged until I replaced the motor

and the Coolant temp fan switch in the water housing,

to test the fan to make sure it runs, use a paper clip on the plug for the fan switch and then turn ignition on, your fan should spin, if it doesn't its your fan thats broken.
