Hi guys. Just a quick post to let you all know we have updated/upgraded the forum to to very latest version of IPB forum software. Unfortunately our current forum themes were not compatible with the new version, so we have put in place a basic one based on our Civic forum colours (red, grey and black). We'll be adding to it/changing things in time to be more like the previous themes look so bear with us.

The upgrade had a lot of security patches and upgrades so again, keeping the forum nice and safe for all our members.

The upgrade seems to have gone through problem free so fingers crossed. If however you do find any faults/things not working please let myself or one of the team know, or reply to this post.

Stay safe,

Dave and the Team

One of the new features is that you can now change how you view the forum. It's your forum, have it your way. In the screengrab below, the green arrow points to the buttons to change the view. You can have it as list (which is a traditional forum layout), grid (what our default view was before where it is laid out like a grid) or fluid. This has the forum topics in a list, with a menu to the side showing the forum categories and sub forums. Choose which view you like the best!

That's a neat feature. The fluid one is quite a good idea, only downside is that there's nearly 4 pages of pinned threads to get through first :geeky:

Would be great for new members though to be able to get to all the pinned threads without having to go digging around the archives.
