jalesi2001
As the title suggests, please shed some light on this, cant get my head round how a cat can be adjustable?!!!
FlunkyVTEC
I do know about adjustable de-cat's (in order to make them fit to your exhaust system)...but cat's??? The only logical explanation I can think of is that it would be a universal (sports)cat with a piece of piping that can be adjusted in length. What would be a great adjustable exhaust cat would be one with a bypass through a de-cat for those days that you're feeling naughty and want max. power, regardless of the environment (but then again, don't we all want that every day except for MOT-day ). civicturbo79
No what it means is that the ends of the cat (The flanges) can be rotated through 360 degrees to fit to any exhaust system regardless of the flange angle. Rich.

hickster
In relation to Honda USDM/UKDM cats are different in length and flange orientation to JDM (think I got that the right way round; one of them is different). An adjustable cat or decat allows you to run a JDM manifold with a UK cat back system or any other configuration.
jalesi2001
Sweet, cheers guys!!! Sounds like a good idea if anyone is gonna mix and match different makes for their exhaust parts. As long as the diameters are the same yeah?
