belfastlad123
would an un balanced wheel make my car sound like the wheel bearings gone car was ok with standard alloys only clicked on there now.from i changed my wheels sometimes you can hear a humming when driving on smooth ground .its now and again you can hear the humming not all the time but if im driving down the motorway at 70/80 you cant hear anything would this be because one of the wheels need balanced ?? johngreen537
Doubtful mate. If the front wheel was out of balance, you'd get steering wheel wobble. If the back ones were out of balance, the whole car wobbles, but not the steering wheel Shouldn't make any noise though!M's are prone to killing wheel bearings though! jonnyricer
Pos distorted tyre if the tyre tread goes like a 50 p coin you get a light rumble that sounds like a wbhel bearing!

jonnyricer
Tyres can wear funny especially the rear if you run your hand around the tred you can feel bumps or lumps, hand goes up and down on waves. The larger the up and down the worse the sound
scottravenhill
since i put 17's on the tyre noise is horrendous at 30-40mph, like a bearing noise, but on some roads I cant hear it. It cant be heard on motorway at high speed. i can also feel the vibration at 40 sometimes too. but it defo depends what road surface I am on.
