Air con removal

Has any one done this? Also do you have to get new/ different size power steering and alternator belts? Are there any gains?

i think i remember seeing on here that the air con weighed in at around 13kg i think but dont quote me on that

Think jake said to me if i remember correctly was about 20Kg ;) deffo more than 10+kg :?:

weight up the pro's n cons. i bought the car with the buzz of "air conditioning"

however, in the last 3 years of 30,000miles or so i have totally used it about 500miles and thats generous :!: is it really worth it in this climate :?:

i got rid. especially as the pulley wheel came off on the motorway and allmost destroyed everything within the vicinity. id say average weight is approx 15kg's. but engine bay looks well better. me n andy working on car... one of the benefits is you can now stand in the engine bay :DWACK11111
