I got these two weeks ago

and these arrived yesterday

^they center the rear wheel in the arches when the back is lowered ^

So today i got to work attaching them but little did I know one 13 mm nut/bolt was going to make my day hell  :-x

The nut on the shock mount was welded on and it poped off as i loosened the bolt

Looking from the top

And the problem area, the nut is free to turn and access is zero

Any way with some help from my girlfriend we decided to grind the head off as it was the only option

after starting at eleven i just finished at nine ................

BUT L@@K the front is complete

I just took it for a short spin and the handling is much sharper and more pointy ... NIIICE.

Tomorrow i will be tackling the rear, this involves flipping the axel over the leaf spring and attaching new shocks and adjustable shackles.

So far I'm happy out.

looking good, have to a admit i was a little disappointed after reading the topic title that it wasn't a mk1 caddy ;) however for a practical purpose they are very good little vans

Well today was long but worth it, i went very slow and greased all the nut and bolts as i went.

I'm not 100% sure about the centering is correct

I can fit a fist in the front at the back but at the rear i can't get my fist in the back .... if that makes sense.

And also I think the left rear wheel is turned in (toed)

Any way this is the end result which i am very happy with.
