I've heard that there are a few other car clubs such as ours that have their own FB group too, and there have been reports of scams taking place. This seems to be the norm nowadays, with strangers joining groups/forums for the sole purpose of trying to scam the genuine members. Please use caution when buying goods offered for sale within the Civic5 Facebook group, unless you know the person selling the stuff. I know most of our group are longstanding members and genuine but please keep an eye out. We can't offer the same level of security on there as we have in the forum, so buyers beware! We'll be recruiting a Civic5 Team specifically to manage our FB side of things, so hopefully this will keep scams to a minimum, but as said above, still won't be as safe as the forum.
