  1. Thanks everyone.

Krzya, Yeah dude. long time no see.

Really miss my Deck!  I haven't been on many forums for a while, heck I haven't done anything to cars for the last 2 years until a couple of days ago when I fitted a NUR spec onto my EVO :-D First mod on that in 10 years of ownership :P

    Looks like I won't be wrapping then.LOL.

Simpo.  Yeah it's like a sticker but a very large one which attracts alot of heat :(  my main worry is the amount of heat it gathers and that will effect the lacquer under it.

I was looking foward to it as well!! did a couple of photoshop edits and it looks fairly mean :)

OK OK tom. I will try and sort it out now.  the photos are all still there but it's just moved folder so the links are all borken.  can you remind me which ones you need fixing as I forgotten which ones I did except the removing res box.

  2. Hi everyone

    A stupid question here.

Can anybody tell me if carbon wraps will damage the lacquer underneath?

I mean If I was to wrap my bonnet and for some miracle we have a long and sunny summer,  will the heat it collects (as it's black) do any long term damage to the lacquer under it?    and er, I wasn't talking about just the 1 year.  over numbers of years....

    Thanks

  3. Hello All

    Just wondering about these kits.

Does anyone know if these kits will leave glue residue behind after you move it?? I'm not talking about after 1 month. I mean MONTHS as well as been in the summer sun shine.

I want to apply it on my headlights but I cannot get a replacement headlights, this is why I am asking. My headlight lens is also plastic like the civic.

Also, I have seen some kits on ebay which says very simular to flyeye kits. anyone used them before?

Can anyone who has them post a photo of their headlight and also put down which shade you went for.

    Thanks :D

  4. Thanks 8-)

I'm abit old for neons and glowing footwells.....but I don't care  already got a evo and a GT for speed. might as well pimp this one up

I don't blame you! I'd have a car for going fast and one for cruising in that looks awesome if I could! So far I have a mash of both in one car

  5. Would be good to get alot of the OEM+ goodies but everything is in japan. :( Everything cost a bomb to get delivered.

I am pretty much all set now. did the interior, front bumper, side skirts, spoiler and front lip coming over from japan. Going to order a set of H&R lowering spring and I think that is it. :D

oooooh, and front fogs for the new bumper

  6. Got these JDM goodness straight from Japan

32 pages brochure and a 20 page Customize Catalogue

These cars were actually built from ground up. You chose exactly what goes in there and what colours you want each parts. They called it 'Make the style'

They have so many optional extras it's unreal. I think there are about 50+ to chose from. anything from TOM's or TRD coilovers, selections of front bumpers and tail lights to a cig lighters. It's mad 8-)

  7. Craig

I will do a mock up picture to explain. honestly. I can only wire up a plug and managed to do this so anyone can

Looks ace Chi, but do you ever drive it? Haven't seen it out in ages.

P.S Do you know someone local with an Altezza that I can go look at/sit in/go for a drive with? ;)

Yeah buddy. it's our daily car so it's always out.

Managed to take the evo out for a good drive wednesday night. Was ace.

As a matter of fact I do. It's a Black Tezza with Black wheels and red rim. surely you have seen it about in dorch. Last I heard it was running 300-400bhp You thinking in changing cars :o

  8. Very EASY mate and I am a R-tard when it comes to electronics. :D

You just find a + power souce such as side lights or the ashtray light. Put that + to the + part of the switch. Connect the + from the LED to the middle of the switch and then connect the - from the LED to the bottom of the switch along with a earth from your car.

Took me about 1/2 hour to wire everything up as I needed to remove trims and run wires through gaps. Now when I turn on the side/head lights, everything lights up. When it gets annoying. I just flick the switch. :)

  9. Raining bank holiday so I can't order anymore parts to complete the sub :(

So I dug around at home and found pretty much everything I need except for some long screws and tubing......

Kept me busy for a boring bank holiday :)

This is the cover up the sub so I hope no chav scum will see it and break into the car

Perspex. I wanted to order some frosted ones but I guess this saves me £4

Cut and wrapped, I also stuck on some frosted window cling on the underside to get the frosted perspex look. might have to add more tho as it's still not frosty enough

Just need to wait till my LEDs and angel eyes to turn up  The angel eyes were bought 3 weeks ago and still not arrived

  10. You forgot the neon :-P

That is coming in the post :D not neon tho. just blue leds. Can't find a neon ring in 8" for the life of me....... or was that the smaller size for the spoeaks??? can't remeber.

Anyway. I have 2 sets of angel eyes coming, 1 set for the front door speakers and 1 set for the dash tweeters (see the OEM+ pic above)

However the angel eyes are smd leds :( I am going to wrap the whole thing up in blue silicoe hose so it will glow blue and the silicone hose will spead the lights out and not have piercing LED look.
