£300
I found these on ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321141757799?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
plus they give £15 cashback for old ones
they don't come with the sliders or carriers, do you think that might be an issue?

Same car as mine mate, like the rocker cover, shame about the mg suspension not dropping it much, least it handles better, i had 17" wheels on mine, just gone back to 15" , much better
The drop isn't major, but is brilliant to drive, also, i am nearing to putting some new rims on, plus some new disc pads and caliper on the rear, i think mine are sticking.
Took the car recently on a 400 mile round trip, it gave me 42 MPG :0, i was pleasantly surprised
-
Thanks guys, i'm wanting to change the rear discs on my mb4, i bought the 239mm but they seem to be small
would mine be the 260mm?
-
Hi guys,
Does anyone know what the size of the rear discs are on these?
-
thanks, the car is quite clean, just the rear bumper had a few marks, but it's in the work shop and will be rectified.
will get pics when it's back
-
Does look great in there!
Was it messy removing iacv. How much coolant spilled? Need to clean mine sticks sometimes. Just can't be doing with the hassle of spillages in me nice clean bay!
not messy at all.
a bit of coolant will come out, nothing major.
when you take the iacv off make sure the pipes are held of straight up, you should be fine
-
Thank you guys, much appreciated

Looking sweet mate. Very nice. Is that a summit brace in there too? Very nice
thank you, and yes, it is a summit brace, nice and strong
-
thank you, i think i may need to replace the rocker gasket, very minimal oil coming out, nothing serious, but want it to be perfect
-

Just pull ht leads. And any clips. Then simply undo the bolts. And it will wiggle up and off.
.
then justvlay a clean bin bag over the head and close the bonnet down on it while you work on the rocker. Make sure its super clean before it goes back on, dont want any crap in there.
thanks bud, will give it a go when i get time
-
anyone got a 'how to' to it, or a pic to show what i need to take off?
will i need to replace the rocker gasket also?
is it just the bolts you see on top of the rocker, or would i need to take the timing belt cover off also?
-
not taken any, will put some up as soon as i have some.
I was wanting to spray my rocker cover, what would be the best way, not keen on taking it off
-
Just installed a front top strut brace
-
Nice and quite now?
Oh yes, just how i like it now (too old for loud exhausts).
I was wanting to get the pcv valve changed, anyone know where i can get one, i contact Honda and they had no clue what it was

Just the shocks and springs, it does actually feel a little better to be honest.
I think 17" will be too big for me, i'v got some 15" wheels, will see if they are ok
-
Yes defiantely
I think the car has dropped a bit, I think i was expecting a bit more of a drop
Pdid you have the mg stuff fitted?
Yes i did, not a major drop, but looks better.
I think i need 15" or 16" wheels

If you had it done by a garage you need to take it back.
sorry, how do you mean?
what did they do wrong?
Well if it wasn't knocking before you took it in then they need to fix it.
lol, you miss understood me, it was knocking before, but now it's not, it actually cured the initial issue

I have had the suspension swapped over, but nothing has really changed or improved
only benefit i have had is a knocking type noise which i think was due to the strut top mount, that has gone .
Pics of my car standard:
stainless steel manifold and downpip:

Thanks guys, took a bit of grafting but it's well worth it when your car smells fresh when the door opens.
I'm going to leave the suspenion to the garage to do, if i try to do it, it will tae me a while as i only have sundays off
I am going to focus on improving the look of the engine bay next
-
Ok, so i have adjusted the title now
Some more updates:
I tried the suspension, but couldn't get the rear bolts off, i lost 2 sockets
Anyway, I had the wheel off and a few hours spare, so had to do something, so just did the rear calipers:
Then gave it a wet and dry treatment inside, so all clean and fresh inside:
this was all the yuckiness it had :
And also gave it a bath outside, updated the first post with the new pics
