You'll have to let me have a sit in them when i see you at the meet and let me experience it lol but i think a set of seats will have to be the next mod. i'm keeping the civic for a bit longer now after the fun i had with her at japfest

hey guys as title suggests doe's anyone know what hose kits will fit the MB6? Got a leaky top rad hose so looking to upgrade, not fussed too much about colours it's just i hear these kits are tricky to find for the MB6.
Plus it would be a nice edition for jap fest lol
Cheers Guys.

Its pretty fookin loud lol! before i put the 4-1 manifold on the noise it made was immense! It's not as noticeable with the mani on now until you hit 6000rpm and then it comes alive

I could well be selling mine this year ! I need to satisfy a 4 wheel drive turbo itch i have that just won't go away lol! Don't really want to after the ££££'s i've spent over the years but we will see!
-
Don't rule out noisey tires guys! In total i've had 3 bearings done (2 rears 1 front) and still had a rumble sound after all that! Changed my tires and the noise went, maybe try swaping front and rear wheels around and see if the noise changes??!!
when you changed the front bearing was it just the bearing itself or was it the whole hub?
To be honest mate i don't know ! It was picked up during an MOT and sorted at the same time, i'm guessing it was a complete hub as it's alot easier to change!

Thanks to TontVTi for this info,,, 1"£££$££"!!
ECU Reset,,,
After much Googling about resetting the ECU a variety of answers come up. None which seem to fully apply to the MB6 as usual
Some of the literature says that Honda ECU's have a fuse that says "back up" or a fuse that says "ECU" and you should remove these. The MB6 has both
After trial and error today I got a good result from the below.
After getting the car warm I shut her down and took out the "ECU fuse 15A" and the "Back Up fuse 7.5A"
Left it 10min
Started the car and just left her idling, you're supposed to leave it till it settles down to a smooth idle, [i left it idling for 10min as the fan activates after a certain point and it gives a chance for the fuel trims to include this].
Shut the car down and started it back up straight away. [This is supposed to save the new fuel trim settings].

Right i was a bit skeptical about the results of doing this proberly the first time this has been done to my VTi since all the mods were done! (& since the mods it has been feeling slower getting flat spots etc etc,,,
But i can not belive the difference it has made (almost unbelievable) i can't stress that enough!!! all my flat spots are gone, quicker acceleration, smoother all round, feels completely different in vtec (bit louder) like driving a different car! I'm in shock lol!!! I would recommend everyone to do this!
I'm doing this tomorrow!!! Sounds just like mine at the mo, with the mods i've done so far i could do with trying this.

She really is coming on now mate looking good. Was saying to John when i picked up the wheels that i need to get started on mine now with the summer coming. Might have to get my fresh rocker cover on before the meet lol!
better hurry up then mate only 4days
LOL yeah mate it's getting close! Don't think i'm going to manage it to be honest the suppliers around here are useless and it's gonna take them 3 days to get a new rocker cover gasket! No point changing it without a new gasket

Lol yeah your probably right mate don't turn your back for too long at the meet yeah dave I was thinking about it but after looking around japfest it seems the MB is quite rare compared to most if you know what I mean! I'm even seriously thinking about a turbo project
