Well sent ecu off to h tune to do the vtec wire professionally and while it up there getting vtec to kick in at 4k and having launch control built in and speed limiter removed just will have to run wire to solenoid and get ecu back and I should be running full power -
o for it yourself worst thing is you will have to go to a builder's shop to buy two new bolts it really simple the rest of it
-
Yeah them bottom bolts on rear are really troublesome I done mine on a Saturday at work and left rears to afternoon and snapped one doing it up was a real pain I would recommend getting one out and going down to somewhere that does all types of bolts and get two new ones and copperslip them up

Yeah I sending ecu off to h tune to do the one wire vtec and while it there having launch control put in. I didn't realise that if it didn't have vtec before there wouldn't be a wire for it I thought it would use the same loom but not have the wire going anywhere so will have to check that. Yeah the idle air control valve on car originally was 3 wire and new one is 2 wire how would I convert that? -

Well had a slight problem with the civic today wouldn't start :s luckily found out that I had run out of fuel and my fuel light doesn't work haha but at the time didn't realise so I read fault codes on ecu and I got: 14 idle air control valve 21 vtec oil pressure switch 22 vtec solenoid So I can comfirm I have a vtec motor with no vtec lol but sending ecu off as apparently that can cause the no vtec as it an older ecu so while it at h tune I'm getting launch control built into it aswell with a road map so hopefully it will be awesome when it all done -
I want the bumper!

Some new pics of the beast Just wanna know what you guys think of my rear lights done them end of last year ask something different and was fed up of people saying sidelights were dim didn't realize people had already done it on here thou haha -
Yeah I know the vtec solenoid is a single wire but as I using an older ecu I've heard that they older ecu internals uses a 2 wire vtec so what I trying to find out is is my ecu a single wire vtec or double wire
-
Sweet will be doing that to mine then
-
That is exactly what I thought it goes pretty well but not as well as I thought
-
Right as most of you know I put a b16 in my car and I running a p30 obd1 ecu with a jumper harness now not being a genius on ecus and before I disconnect ecu and send to h tune does anyone know if the obd1 p30 is a single wire vtec or a double wire vtec? As I nit sure vtec is working as there is no note change through the exhaust and seems quite under powered any info would help cheers

Am I right in saying if you out a split pin in the 2 wire on you can get your engine management light to flash the codes?
