  1. With the civic gone, i bought a 10 plate Honda jazz Ex .Down side is, my Brand new Pioneer Ipod direct, bluetooth head unit doesnt fit in the Jazz as its a stereo that is also the dash, and Brand new Vibe 6x9 speakers wont go in the new Jazz either. They will now sit boxed up in my spare room aswell. Shame really as the 28days statutory rights has gone, so cant get a refund Still havent got round to rubbing down and painting the Fat5 alloys i spent 3 months looking for. it will give me something to do over winter i suppose. Been checking the forum and and every ones projects are looking really good. Looking at getting a Mazda b2200 pick up and slamming it on the floor with a mint set of 16" rims to set it off. But with a Little baby due any time, i have to be sensible at the moment.plus i dont need a second car yet, hense selling the civic.
  2. Hi Guys, Been a while. Well where to start. VTi Lip spoiler painted in Titan silver, with all fixings Boot spoiler in Primer ready to paint. 4 x standard shocks nearly new found a set of fat 5 Alloys, just need rubbing down a painting. Engine strut brace Clear side indicators with orange bulbs Full set of Genuine Honda fabric car mats All the above are now just siiting in the garage. No use to me as i wont be getting another one now. The car has gone. sold. Never mind. Im sure at some point in my life i will get round to setting up a ebay account and paypal account.and probably a few years down the line, un bubble wrap everything and see what i have lying around. Hope all your projects are going well.
  3. Hi Peoples, Not alot happening at the moment. Front Vti lip spoiler and rear boot spoiler and Rear bumper( Rear bumper which i got of fleabay for .99p) all rubbed down ready for paint, but im waiting on my mate to have a free weekend to paint. Until then nothing really to show except i decided not to fit my gloss black mesh grill, instead i decided to go for the brushed metal look on the outer grill.. As far as i can see, its not been done before. Everyone has carbon wrapped or painted black so here is a picture. Still looking for a set of Fat5 alloys. No luck at the moment though.
  4. Thanks for the comment about the rims. Wished id kept them now. I sold the car after having her 8 years and putting nearly 140,000 miles and bought a Jazz sport, lowered it 40mm and i couldnt fit those wheels on without rolling the arches, so i sold them. Never mind. Im sticking with Fat5 15" rims this time till the right set come along.
  5. This is my old civic. My new will will have the same chin spoiler, the vti, not the vtis. Dont like te look of them at all. My personal taste.
  6. Once your ride is lowered you won't want the mudflaps anymore... the voice of experience! My last civic i had, i ran it 45mm lowered on brand new standard honda shocks with the front and rear muds on and apart from the odd scrap. It was fine. Then i put side skirts on but found the car getting covered in crap more. so this time i wont be fitting side skirts and sticking with the standard look.
  7. Hi Guys This is what i have in the garage for mine. VTi front lip spoiler Rear boot spolier Rear bumper all the above need painting and fitting 1litre of nh614m paint to paint the above. Shocks with lowering springs - yet to be fitted on car. Just trying to fing some rear mudflaps and some Fat5 alloys. The problem is getting time to fit to the car. It has to be done soon, as i wont drive the car till this is all done.
  8. Not many scivics with the wood trim, making the interior a bit unique. Answers on a post card. Wood trim to Stay or Go. ??????

    Mileage!

1998 s reg, 74,000 miles, just run in.
  10. Thanks Iain ( wilson30). I tend to like mine unlived in, not everys ones taste but keeps me happy. My motorbike is the same. I bought it and spent 3 weeks cleaning it before i even rode it. Same is this civic. Not even driven on the road yet, getting it all done before it ventures out.
  11. Thanks James, might try some nail polish tonight. The interior is getting there. Wasnt looking like this when i got her. White paint on the rear seats, usual grubbiness all over. Took the front seats out to clean all the seat runners and carpet. Just got to polish the wood trim round the gera selector as it has light scratches all over it.
  12. As promised, some inside interior shots.
  13. As promised, some inside interior shots.
  14. Hi James, You got it spot on except, im rubbing down the chrome to show the plastic underneath, not painting it. Will post pic when im done, just got to get some heavy duty compound on my mate who is spraying the boot spoiler and lip spoiler for me.
  15. Thanks guys, 73,000 miles 12 months mot, 6 months tax and cambelt replaced for £900 and it has full leather. Pics to come of interior. I have the following parts sitting in the garage reardy to fit pending painting parts Front lip spoiler Rear boot spoiler 40mm Lowering springs Front fog lights Full mudflaps all round Clear side indicators Step plates De chrome front grill Just got to find a decent rear bumper as mine has been cut by the rear towing eye, and is distorted in places. Just got to clean and treat leather seats again, as i have already done them once, but could come up better. Will post pics as and when its done. Cheers guys, its always nice to see before and afters of your cars aswell.
