  1. Sorry to say the civic has now been sold - an the new owner is putting his stamp on it already. Didn't really want to sell her, but my mrs step dad decided to part ways with his mr2... He looked for quite a while before he settled on this rev 5 and i asked for 1st refusal if ever he sold it it really is immaculate: so thanks to everyone to has given advise and helped out along the way - i'm off to give her a wash and polish col
  2. hello mate! will keep an eye out to see how your gettin on! enjoy it col
  3. Mine didn't work when i bought the car, so had a look on ebay to find 1 being broken, then paid for the key fobs and reciever unit (bobble near interior light) changed the lot and hey presto was only £5 for the lot as i remember
  4. let us know how you get on mate, always good to know peoples experiences when it comes to stuff like this col

    Changing Front Seats

Do the evo seats give you a high seating position like the ep3 seats? col
  6. and if you cant fix it, your not hitting it hard enough!
  7. put rear seats down then there's 1 clip holding carpet down at each side - it's fairly obvious then just peel carpet back and hey presto. can be quite fun positioning it back mind col
  8. what ryan said. and for the rears i took the lower arm out completely col
  9. Just had a bit of a result with the exhaust... was watching one on egay that didn't sell so offered the guy £25 which he took as he was clearing out his sons stuff, turned up to collect it and have bagged myself a hks hi power system with straight through pipe and he even threw in a standard mani and a fuel pressure regulator. money well spent
  10. does anyone have one of these fitted? if so, where can i get one, and would you recommend one? col
  11. Thought I'd start a little project thread for my VTiS At first there was no need as I planned to keep her original, but now I've been bitten and there will be a few changes coming in the not so distant future. As I got her: after full zs180 setup including rear arb now handles as it should have done but there is still a bit of an arch gap... bought these for a pinch but as they've been sat around a while will require new tyres, and they're quite far down the list. ultra RARE kosei rims, should fill the arches a little more, but may still end up with a set of lowering springs at some point these also need new allen key heads as they were taken off by previous owner with a view to replacing, but now i'm not sure where to get new ones She's also been treated to a full service - ALL fluids, filters, belts and ignition components, cup holder, heater matrix, new parcel shelf. this month should see: zs grey door cards or standard ones re-trimmed in alcantara, just waiting on a sample of the fabric. rocker cover repainted tegiwa vtec solenoid cover zs wind deflectors exhaust induction kit my fogs returned from being reconditioned new headlights as mine are crazed and yellow'd more pics to follow with progress col
  12. ok, just to add a little something extra to the mix, swapped my suspension over the weekend, directly off of a zs180. the rear springs had no markings, where as the fronts had blue, orange and a little bit of white paint. ride is so much firmer with virtually no body roll, and it corners like it should have done in the first place. zs is now wearing civic setup and looks hilarious.
  13. FIXED! on closer inspection, there are some witness marks on the cable/ metal loop assembly, that should line up with marks on the car, the whole lot had been pushed down, so a few technical adjustment with a hammer and hey presto. fully functioning boot!
  14. will go and have a look at mine and report back
