I mean took it apart for painting, to paint it in pb I wouldn't have had to take the doors of but because I I'm changing the colour I need to paint the insides of the doors and all.

Yeah doing a build thread reminds you of how much ive done, just want it done i miss it lol but it ill be worth the wait.

I never took any lol the I took the aerial out and washer jet out and welded it up its filled and UN primer, I'll get a pic for you tomorrow.Shame about the rust mate but you certainly made a good out of something bad !

no mate long old build slowly but surely lol I'm actually working on a wee sri corsa to drive while this is being done.Is this still not done yet? Finger. Out.
This should be one of the nicest MB6s around once it's done.
Looking at that rust doesn't inspire much confidence in what sort of rust might be lurking under mine, especially with it having lived its life in the wilds of Scotland lol
if your doing it don't used jdm your shafts will be too small used UK dc2, I wouldn't do it if I was you it's only because mine where £250 with wheels.Nice build

First off camber doesnt kill tires its toe does so id say you should get an alignment done, but tbh it doesnt look all that bad.

Right where was I now that every thing is uploaded to a decent image host.
These photos my not be in the right order ive been doing this over the last year.
After i got the five stud done i drove it round to my mates body shop to get the roof painted as it was rusting see pics
So we pulled the window out
and found this
and this, thats it cleaned up but it was badly rusted
so then this had to happed to get those rusty bits sorted, you can see the rust at the bottom corner of the window.
Patched up
zink primer then black primer might have used some isopon cant remember its that long ago.
while the front end was in bits I wire wheeled the rust and treated it and stone chipped the life out on it.
Sold a few things i wasnt using like my 1/5 hpi baja I never had time to use it and when I did the kids where with me and didnt like it.
But they made way for these
And on to cleaning the rear arches and fitting coilovers
That ill do for tonight lol more to come.

Nice work mate but that's definitely something I wouldn't tackle myself lol.

You probably seen it on the fb page.
I traded in those 15" for 16" grids, more pictures and info later.
They came up cheap and I needed to change the rear calipers as they where sticking so I went for it.

I got it cleaned up and put a set of Rays on it i had in the garage with the intentions of refurbing the oem wheels.
I had some on accord sport wheels that i refurbed just before christmas last year.
At that time this was the spec
Atr recaros
B18c4 head rebult with Itr valves and cams rolling roaded at 191bhp
4-2-1 manifold
Mongoose exhaust with sports cat
Whales p***s intake
Ngk plug leads
Aircon removed
Usdm rocker coverNext thing to do is to fit the five stud setup.
Ive got them stripped down for powder coating.Five stud fitted
Had to replace the fuel tank so went nuts with the stone chip.
That will do for tonight Ill update more tomorrow.

Can you not lathe a few mm off the back off the wheel to bring it into the arch a bit and you won't have to run as much camber and you won't need new tyres every 4 months?

Aye going to get it just need to gather the money. I'll not be changing the inlet mani just the exhaust for the 98 spec teg one and cams then a remap

I think im going to put it as think it will help it and if i don't like it ill take it out lol. I'll be putting cams and 98 spec mani on it at some point and then ill get a remap.

Should I put one into my mb6 or buy a teg head at the same money? Obviouslythere will be alot more costs to fit the head, or s80 now and cams and remap later down the line?

I was thinking about putting a dc2 head on or dc2 box but haven't quite decided on which one yet.

Bear with me on this not something i normally do on forums so I hope the pictures work lol
Some of you my know this as a fellow members car who sold it to me after someone in a dturbo decided to drive into the back of him. Unlucky for him but lucky for me So pulled the boot floor out and with a bit of it was like new just needed a rear bumper, so fixed it up with cable ties until i got sorted.
This is how i got it but with the 5 spoke vti wheels, mgzs shockes springs, arb and powerflow cat back
I also managed to swap my half leather for full leather and got mg door card off ebay no pics
Sold the fans and got dc2 wheels no pics with the dc 2 wheels just use your imagination lol looked actually well the white on silver better than I thought.
I got some Rays engineering wheels 17" x71/2 et 30 I knew I had to go low to pull them off so out with the mg stuff and in with the ebay specials.

So I got tyres on them and fitted them on, as I thought the rear arches needed rolled.
Got them fitting nice and snug with a few mm in between, notice my cable tie fix on ther rear bumper lol
So a car show was coming up and it was about time I got my car all cleaned up and get the things done that I wanted done as the only time my cars are sitting right are when there up for sale so it was the perfect push for me to get it all the bits done that i needed to do.
I valeted the interior first as it was a bit smokey with the leather seats i had put in, next up was to get the wheels painted from the black to this matt bronze
Got the powerflow off for the dc2 center, decat and 5zigen back box
Also got an mg zs spoiler of the last owner painted and all.
Got my windows tinted 40% allround and got my wheels on, buffed the car up waxed and I was ready for sho werks

Or maybe it's the skunk2 inlet which is a copy of the dc2 one

I garentee that top pic it bird poo, ive over 10 year car Valeting and I know the difference between bird poo and a strike through.
