http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Integra-Type- ... 43b8a1a148 would this be the breather box that could be the issue does anyone know?
-
I think Type Two, who worked on the car said it looks to be leaking from what I would guess is the crank case breather box, but after replacing the seals, it continued leaking so they reckon it could be split, somehow lol. Would anyone have a breather box lying around by chance so i could try in mine to eliminate this option?

Right I've been really gettin p**sed off with an oil leak thats on my car, it isn't leaking much but it does drip a small amount of oil onto the exhaust just behind the manifold which creates a terrible smell and after a drive on the motorway or any driving that heats up the exhaust enough, there is a pile of smoke from the oil burning off the exhaust. I have had the car into a local Honda specialist and he has tried to fix it, saying that its a breather box at the back of the engine, but what he did hasnt worked and has the breather box on order but the supplier is out of stock. Has anyone come across a similar problem of an oil leak at the back of the engine or able to shine any light on the situation?? Cheers in advance, need sorted asap! lol

And as for which way to turn are they both anti-clockwise or is it drivers side clockwise and passenger side anti clockwise or what lol??

Hi folks, I purchased a pair of JR driveshafts through advice on this site and tomorrow I plan to change the pair of them into my motor. Now I believe the procedure is to firstly undo the hub nuts before jacking the car up, is this correct? Are they reverse thread or any advice on removing them cause they seem properly ceasedd, and thats after straightening out the dimplke thats knocked in to lock them and I have been using a breaker bar with the jack handle on the end, so not short on leverage, but worried im doing something wrong or stupid lol. Any advice would be great help folks, cheers

my drivers side snapped so i just need a replacement, heard horror stories of fitting 2nd hand shaft creating a wobble, so thinkin of just goin new an may as well get a pair cause dear knows when the other side will go lol. So yous reckon go for j an r??

That is for a set mate so its for both driveshafts.

Need a driveshaft for my VTI-S and thinking of just getting a pair. Does anybody have any exerience of these driveshafts? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YONAKA-Honda- ... 5891b156eb

yeah they would definately make it low lol, mine os low enough at the front with the standard dc2 shocks and springs lol. I have noticed the back shocks which are mgzs 180 units, are noticably stiffer than the dc2 units on the front, but since i often use my car for carrying tools/mountain bikes/ B&Q purchases lol, it has worked out really well cause i can be carrying a full car of people or a big load in the boot without the back dragging along the ground lol.

I have the dc2 set up in the front matched with mgzs rear shocks, and i couldn't be happier, check out the thread i wrote up about it.

Just wondered if anyone knows if sensors off any other car or model that will fit a civic vti-s? Im in a panick for mot on monday cause i need a rear passenger one and the only one i could get second hand didn't work.

Im not too sure about the differences between ukdm and jdm integra shocks/springs, but it does make sense that the difference between mine and yours may be the weight at the front between the 1.5 and 1.8. Have you driven it yet since you fitted the fronts? Mine were out of a 1996 jdm integra fyi lol

well from what i have driven it is stiffer than the standard VTI-S suspenion but nowere near as stiff as the MGZS 180 front suspension. So far I would say it is very comfortable for how it sits lol. Not bouncy in any way and follows the road nicely. The MGZS 180 suspension at the front I found was so stiff it did bounch a bit.

Sorry Emzvr, maybe it was that way round with the spring colours, I can't remember exactly lol. I had the same outlook as yourself, I never like low low cars cause you can tell they will ride like a bag of s**t but I am pleasantly suprised by this set up, it is way better than the 180 set up at the front I found, the 180 set up was far too stiff for me, it felt like the car was lowered 80mm or more lol. These shocks really do ride brilliantly from what I have driven so far. I have been told you would need the teg lower control arms to put the rears in, but then the weights at the back of an integra and VTI-S are very different to that of the VTI-S and MGZS, which noodels has rightly pointed out. Again, I am not saying this IS the solution suspension wise, but I will say that so far so good, rides better than standard, rides better than MGZS 180 suspension all round, rides better than lowering springs, etc.

Good point mate lol, totally forgot about that fact lol. The codes were rpd000120 which two had, and rnb000620 and rnb000620 for the other two. Blue paint markings on the front with blue and white on the rears. The integra ones actually have blue and green paint on them lol.
