ok guys after my wee prob with the bent valves still having a tappty issue got valves check and checked again still tapping/ticking even went to change the LMA's found a cheap place if ever anyone needs new 1's http://japserviceparts.co.uk/honda-lost ... eries.html anyways wasen't the fault, come down to maybe valve guides could they making a tapping/ticking noise if they were damaged when i bent the valves i didnt replace them the tapping ticking doing my head in now thanks

anyways cars back from honda all sorted valve clearences where well out, so much for the garage i put it to doing the work £70 for nothing, stuck it to honda £94 and its fixed, just wondering if i would have any chance getting my money back from the other garage as they didnt do the work right . honda also changed a cam seal that was leaking and rechecked my timing so its all good

cheers did you go for the black editon discs or just the normal sliver 1's also does any know where i can get front lower arm bushes

ok guys looking at changing all my discs to vented and groved any recommendations ?

anyways i think the garage i took it to didn't do it right found the rocker cover nuts lose, so now is booked into honda next friday at 1pm, and there only chanrging £50 wud have been 70 but since am providing the gasket getting it for £50 hopefully this will fix the tapping noise

ok somthing else that might be wrong, ie the valves na adjusted right, the sounds coming from cylinder 3 thats where all the damage was done and the sound is coming from the intake valves on cylinder 3 m8 said i should have replaced the valve springs as well. so whats everyones opions on this going to take a vid and upload it for you all to have alook

defently not knocking its like tick tick tick tick on idle and doesn't get louder when reving its just embarrassing haha yeah looking for a second hand set dont supose b16 injectors fit our cars as 1 of my m8s is breakng a delsol

ok quick update got the valves done still ticking was told it was injector tick anyway of fixing this. would a new set of injectors fix this issue? cheers

will be phoning tomorrow so hopefully will get it done this week somtime cant think of anything else being wrong hope not spent enough so far

there brand new in anyways going to phone a garage and get them to do it hopefully wont be to dear to do as ive just spent abit on bits and getting a m8 to fit them na bad 7 hrs to strip the head and fit valves and back on the road

that was due to timing belt jumping lol thing is how much drag are you ment to have really tight or what will go out later once the rains off lol, and also any other tips on doing them

its being bothered taking the rocker off again need a better spanner for tighting up the lock nuts

had a wee shot of doing them yesterday but think i messed it up
