the amount they will skim the head depends on how bowed or uneven the face of the head is, basically however much it needs to be straight. obviously this can differ if you wanted a specific amount skimmed i.e 10 thou.

Yes as above I would have thought the throttle body could be made to fit with some thinking and modification, but the intake manifold wont fit due to the stud pattern on the head, your better off with an intake made to fit the d16 head, im sure theres some aftermarket applications out there for the D.
