Seriously dude, you make me feel proud, so happy to see that youve sorted everything and finally enjoying the car. I use your build and effort when having chats with Honda lovers as a example of pure dedication to do the impossible.
Youve Turbo'd an Auto dude!! gunshots in the air!!
-
yes its printed on the springs dude.
Rear numbers end in HA or something
and front VN or something lol
-
Lol its basically there to keep your face cool while your heaters are switched on.
It even says in in the Car Manual lol
-
i like that carbon wrap!
-
The numbers on my Eibach Springs are 4015-002
The seller gave me EK/EJ springs, bare in mind the front will be cool but the rear will drop down like it did on mine
Hence Ive got front Eibach with standard shocks and MG ZS 180 rear shocks and springs
Progressive front and Linear rear lol sounded risky at first, but it handles so well
-
good luck dude, hope you get it sorted
-
lol!
-
Euro car parts is good for Air filter and Oil service parts etc not for performance stuff bro
-
nice wheels dude!
-
I see what your saying, but the handling has been so good!!! havnt had any problems really like how it is at the moment the rear feels solid!
-
Dude I had the same problem, where did you buy your Eibach springs from?
I found out that the springs that were sold to me were for an EK, so lighter back the front was fine because of similar engine weight etc
ITR shocks was one of my options too but you will have to get EK or EJ LCA's
-
everything in my car squeaks lol but its because I havnt screwed everything in yet lol
-
Btw I have a mb6. My part numer says 4020-140. I'm guessing they bloody gave the wrong part
Hey dude, I used the Eibach springs that came in the package only for the front and MG ZS 180 rear shocks and springs sits well good now not too low not too high!

sorry to say pal 4020-140 is wrong
should have for this modification4024-140=£200ish
this uses the better damper from the above mg and is only suited for lowering on the 4024-140
culculated by myself and others b4 prob origonally for my mc2 but seems fine on the mb series aswell.
your option now being, fit old type honda dampers backor send them back? and get the above replacement exchange.
sorry to tell you the bad news
Dude are you reffering to a part number? for Eibach or MG Shocks????
Got it sorted now though 1"£££$££"
Eibach part numbers, and you want 4019-140 for mb4.
So you have mg shocks on the rear but mb on the front
Thanks dude, I'll try and have a look at the number tomorrow

Cant wait to see this fitted!

£30 from Honda? wow lol eBay goons are charging bigger prices for used!
My ones are leaking at the moment so I have the same problem too, safety hazard!
Ive never actually bought something from the dealers ever ever lol whats the process? do you just go in to a store and tell them you wants struts?
Through the show room, look at the cool dash in the CRZ, then go up to the parts department and tell them your number plate and what you'd like.
Receive or place an order for part.
Pay the man and leave 1"£££$££"!!
Lol brilliant!!! need some dash ideas anyway!! 1"£££$££"!

You have got MG shocks on the front as well right?
harVTEC
harVTEC its you!!! lol
Naa dude, standard shocks on Eibach at the front atm, still need to source some for up front...
TBH quite happy with the standard ones on the front, dont want it any lower than that, very practical for me at that height can comfortably go over anything car park ramps, speed bumps etc
It's me haha I was thinking could it not be due to that? Obviously the MG shocks lower about 15-20mm, so adding your springs would mean the back would be dropped 50mm while the front would only be dropped 30mm. That, with your 17s would make the back look seriously low.
Glad you got it sorted now though, if it's not the wrong Eibach springs I reckon it's because of standard front shocks.
harVTEC
spot on man, I think the MG shocks on the front would have made it lower which is what I dont want plus the 17's and the tyres fill up the arch well so dont want to change really, but dont know yet, I like the functionality of it atm as the ride isnt harsh its pretty much perfect for me

looooool!
-
Yep, thats exactly what I did, I thought it would have had more rake, but it seems to slowly be settling and the handling is really good now feels nice and firm.
So MG ZS springs and shocks on the rear now and looking just how I wanted it
Need help identifying this fusebox for wire tuck NOW KNOW!!
