  1. no thats fair enough chris , the car looks stunning and tbh the aircon belt snap(minor issue) well tbh in the 4 years ive owned the v6 i never used the aircon lol ...thats what a window is for lol

Maybe the water came from a rubber from the boot somewhere.

tbh mate i will looking for either 1 vti /vtis mb6 in the next few month but i may have to travel for mine ...

  2. sorry mate , i was looking at the pictures you posted up and i was just wondering did you 100% check the car over first or not, its just in hindsight everytime ive bought a car and checked everything before parting with cash .Tbh if i saw water in the boot like that i would of said nah theres something not right there .i see this one on autotrader a few weeks ago and it looked a bargain but this would of rang alarm bells for me but failing that i hope you get it done just as you want it.

also whats the hole under the petrol filler ?

  3. i hope your right lol , because i know the alternator on the vx v6 is a pig to do as its under the engine at the back and you have to drop the subframe to get to it , also spark plugs for the rear bank have to have the large inlet manifold removed to put the 3 plugs in and oil cooler lets not go there lol...

  4. i would say the later spec as my work buddy whos an old petrolhead of 62 hes got a 1.8 i with the non pop up lights , i think his is a 1998 138bhp version and hes owned it 12 years.

  5. hi becca lovely example of a mb6 , im new to the site but im hoping i can get a nice example of these in black over the next few mths ..

Such a shame what they did to your pride and joy , i had my v6 keyed a few years ago and never got the scratch out as it would of cost too much money , even a polish didnt help on a red car
