  1. Haha Tom, would help if it floods around here I guess and I'm not sure about the yellow tints :/ I have the roll of film but I like the white bulbs I have. Seems to suit my eyesight and the area for me lol (Bare in mind my bedroom light is red and I usually drive my missus home late at night lol).

And I am considering upgrading the exhaust, but I'll think about that when I'm back from Thailand :)

Also, if anyone needs tyres, try Ted's Tyres in Bedminster! I paid £50 for two part worn tyres held back from a week ago, fitted in under 8 minutes or less. Came back home, found over 6mm of tread on each...practically brand new. Prices are £25 for part worn including fitting amd VAT and £35 for a new tyres! Chuffed!

Edit: I'm definitely going to sort out all the scratches and colour code all the black parts, the grill and chrome, minus the H badge  Also did anyone notice my car aerial? The result of not thinking whilst scraping snow off the roof  Still picks up a decent reception

  2. Cheers for the feedback guys :D And yes it's at the lowest...and to be fair, on the roads around where I live where we get a heavy amount of lorries, with all the potholes and SO many bumps it does get a little bit violent in regards to the bouncyness - but naturally, I don't mind - easy to keep the car under control, not to the point of danger.

The only downside I'm having is catching the tow loops on the front and abit of a back strain filling the car up with fuel lol

Also, can anyone tell me what the roads are like in Birmingham City Centre and Manchester? Having a little road trip with the missus next week and I'm slightly concerned with speedbumps  lol

  3. UH OH

:D I'm glad I don't suffer from motion sickness haha Ended up using an angle grinder for quicktime [smash.gif] ANDDD had to make a trip up to Halfords to buy an M10 (or 8...I forgot) x 80mm bolt to fix the bottom of the shock's forks. It did squeak a little bit but went on the second ride!

  4. Looking nice mate.. and different! Those wheels are going to be a b!tch to keep clean though ;)

I KNOW RIGHT!! So many finger black fingerprints on them at the moment :(

What is this 'cleaning' of which you speak? :?

Are they mean't to be grey?:P

I think we're just going to saw and drill the bolt out and hopefully the bolt that came with the coileys should fit...otherwise, I'm f**ked...Where can I pick up a cheap replacement just incase? lol

And cheers guys :D Considering raising it a little bit though as I can't get onto my friends driveway...or I may leave it hmmm lol

Next up on the to do list after the coilovers are sorted: New set of tyres, a full service and getting the leather fully repaired (before Japfest hopefully )

  6. Sawing it off seems like the easiest option to be honest and I've heard that also. Probably have a play around sometime in the week if I can lol and fairly big, big portion of chips with it too! haha

Also, as I was excited, ran inside and got my camera and took this. The first shot of the car and I never even checked it was in focus properly -_-

  7. 2nd Attempt at fitting the coilovers today with a hand from my cousins and success! ... On the front, at the lowest setting, looking like this:

9.3cm clearance on the front! As we had problems removing a bolt (see the image description OR page #1 for some details) so the standard shocks are on the back with the standard wheels (as they are a fraction smaller due to the tire size). So we've left it as it is...and it's drivable and there's no loud knocking! :D

And here is how she looks for the moment until we work out a solution

The handling and overall feel from the front seems to have improved greatly too! Can't wait to fit the rears! Does anyone advise sawing off the bolt and replacing it with the new one that came with the coilovers? Or taking it to a specialist to deal with?

  8. Haha Civic5 South West Clubhouse! Better pictures then! And I'd like to work in the night in regards to the photos...got some awesome ideas I'd like to try :D

Hope ur not exspecting us to get naked and have flashing lights around our balls for these night photos?

Abit of steel wool around your nads...nahh too painful and yes Tom! But same principle :D

Steel wool? You get the same feeling a couple of days after you shave! [smash.gif]

Yeah, for those kind of shots you can either use steel wool (ignite and fling it!) as a sparkler...so they may leave the c**k area slightly toasted WACK11111
