x2 exactly mate 1 neg feedback in that last 12 month and about 30 neutral as i said cant complain about them one of the boots on the hb bearing area was ill fitted but only took a hair pin behind it to flick it back and get it sitting right, no sliders but new boots for the sliders and you can buy the slidrs for around 15-20 an axle if you look around
-
i think mine just has a bit too much slack in it still works and since ive drove it a bit the have bedded nicley and now it dosnt roll down the hill when i get in it :/ haha
-
its your money pal only trying to save you a little i had two of them fitted they have been a dream no more abs taking over my braking and doing a terrible job of it, and at 40 a side including a 15 surcharge so if you sent the others back they would be 25 a side plus a 2 year warranty from the sellers bargain youll need a mech to fit them to keep the warranty though
-
have a brick handy when you park up my hand brake is worse now both sides work and i live on an incline the first day i was back in it i parked up came back out later went to open my door and the car sloooowy rolled a metre or 2 back before it stopped :/ but yeah buy that caliper or the relevent sided caliper and get a mech to fit it, if you look about enough you will find one that will fit it

ive never used copper grease on my brakes as i hear the copper can interfere with the ABS sensors and i hate it when my ABS interferes with my braking, all this is just another reason not to put copper grease anywhere really
-
pagid ceramic grease is an option, never had a peep out of my brakes and i used cheap pads last time i replaced them http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/car-maintenance-accessories/maintenance-fluids-and-greases/grease/?526770250&0&cc5_150

As requested http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231201998498

Yeah for all the worries they did fit in the end I can't see them but they're there as the old ones are in the boot and I can feel them there my brake pedal grips rigght at the top now instead of going like a quater in before gripping on braking performance I couldn't say as I had a stuck caliper at the back so car feels so much better and drives straight now one of the calipers isn't permanently on lol fuel consumption should go down abit aswell was only getting like 20-25 round town :/
-
I got a two year warranty with the £40 pound ones which is part of the reason why I got a mech to fit them. But when they go I'll rebuild my old ones while there off and swap them for the cheap ones
-
Yeah I think it was kink who's didn't fit and routed a different way I'll get you a link now they were of eBay and they don't come with sliders just new boots for the old ones, plus out of the 40 I paid 15 of it is surcharge so could get it back if I sent them back to them Dosnt look worth it see how much the postage will cost me I'll keep them and rebuild them as nessasary, I've give the lines to the mech and told him they may not fit but if they fit and there room for my wheels to turn without any pressure on them then to just fit them
