I got the tank off of ebay. It's an mb6 one but mc2's and mb6's have identical fuel tanks.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I got round to fitting my new fuel tank yesterday as fuel was leaking onto the exhaust.
It was the first time i've ever change a tank but it was fairly straight forward. the old tank was a rusty mess compare to my nice shiny new one
Next on the to do list is to fit my coilovers, my mg zs arb, rear strut brace and some furry dice

My fuel tank on my MC2 has just developed a leak and i was wondering if the MC2's and MB6's have identical fuel tanks?
I've had a good look around and i can only find MB6 ones at the moment. I don't really want to get a second hand one because I plan on keeping the car for a while so i don't fancy changing it again in the near future.

yeh few more bits should get done today being off on a bank holiday changing the gearbox oil then me and a mate are off to scour the scrappies for a mg zs 180 to steal an arb and possibly suspension from

yeh thats gone type r gear knob prelude 4th gen sawblades both put on i have a few plans sort out the suspension and get an arb next then decide on engine route turbo or n/a
