Update: After i topped up the oil (it was 10w40 btw, totally forgot) it was fine and has been since saturday. The oil filter was changed in the service and i think it was to do with that, as mentioned above. Will keep an eye on the oil every week and on the dipstick it is reading as just under max. Still have a little bit of oil left from the 5l. So i know next time if i change the oil filter, it will require a little more than 4 litres. Thanks for the guidance guys .. As soon as the weather clears, there will be more pics of the vti-s as i have made a few minor changes!

Ahh right. Only bought that after being told it all over the net lol. Will get some 10w40 as it is a high miler at 140k

Not sure, my mate done it whilst i was at uni

Hmm right. Yep oil filter was changed aswell. Will check the oil when i pop out in a bit

Well i know the rocker cover gasket needs changing but surely that wouldnt take 4 litres. Yep, driveway was completely dry when i checked. Hmm i didnt touch it, will do that today

Hi guys, after a bit of guidance here. I've had my mb6 over a month or so now and i just serviced it about 2 weeks ago. Put around 4litres of oil in when changed. Now i checked my oil level early today before starting the car and the dipstick was BONE DRY. I found this weird so i opened the oil cap which had a fair bit of oil on the cap tread and also put my torch and looked inside the head and it had enough oil and was clearly lubed up. No lights have come on the dash and it has been driving faultlessley. VTEC kicks in nice and strong and there is not a puff of smoke in or out of vtec. Any advice? Is it a dodgy dipstick?

Fair enough. Should have the clutch in a week or so

Have given them a message on fb. Been quoted £100 labour.. Anyone else?

How many hours roughly would it take? 3 hours?

Hi. Is there anyone around the cv2 area who would be able to change the clutch for me on my mb6? Ofcourse i will pay for services but price has to be fairly reasonable.. Thanks
