  1. Well, after the summer, without much updates to the car, i feel like at least i should post some photos. I hope to save some money now that the summer has gone so i can do some things to it!

Im very happy with the projectors, but not that happy with the xenon kit, but thats what happens when you buy cheap china stuff, broke 2 ballasts and 1 bulb in like 3months of use lol.

Apart from that, car runs great, it just needs a polybush kit wich will happen sooner or later!

  2. Whoa!! Haven´t updated this in a while lol.

Lots of things happend to mb6 in this time but, mostly were maintenance ones:

    -All belts, even cam belt

    -Valve adjusment

-New kit of headgasket seals (it was leaking oil outside, and in to the sparkplugs too)

-Left lower engine mount (was completely destroyed), this solved some of the handling issues of the car too :D

And the rear lower control arms bushings were completely destroyed also, and were changed too, resulting in a driveable car at least!!!!! Now it doesnt want to kill me in almost every corner hahaha

Also a friend gave to me two front 2 piston calipers off a honda legend, wich happens to be a perfect fit!!! It even uses the same brake pads!!

    Some test fitting:

They need some cleaning, and im waiting to buy new brake fluid and brake pads to install them.

    aaaaaaaaaaanddd, here´s the big mod!

Bixenon Projectors, with angel eyes and red led inside, i think they look amazing. I have to say, dynochips inspired me with his amazing headlights !!!

Some more headlight pr0n for you mates:

Hope you like them, ill have more photos when i get the xenon kit, and solve some wiring for the angel eyes. Also if anyone is interested i could make a little how to, with how we made them!

  3. Its not clever at all, in fact, this summer, someone had the luck to discover that, and stole some minor things from the car, sunglasses, phone charger and the air freshener wtf hahaha.

So, has the alarm a fuse? or anyway to deactivate it?

or should i tie it to a tree and use the vtec to rip it off? hahaha

Ill make a video of all these weird things, if someone wants to see it let me know, ill pm it!

  4. i have searched but looks like no one has had the weird problems i´ve been having with the stock alarm of my mb6

I have the remote fob, wich opens and closes all doors, but, just sometimes, the alarm activates, blinking three times the indicators, most of the time it doesnt activate, it just closes and opens.

But, then if you try to open the driver doors handle, the alarm deactivates itself, and opens all doors!! WTF!? Then you use the remote to close it, in that case the alarm doesnt activate after 15 or 20 open-close loops, maybe it takes a week or so.

Also theres another thing that makes me crazy about the drivers door, if you insert any metal, like a paperclip, or ANY key into the keyhole, the car opens!!! Whaaat??

I have dismantled that door, to take a look at the inside to see if there is some derivation to the chassis or something, but there is nothing wrong at first sight.

Has anyone had any problems like this with the stock alarm?

P.s: sorry about my english, if theres any part badly written please tell me, and ill try to explain better!

  5. Wooho!! looks like she likes her new 10w40 oil, after all the weekeend vtec´ing in the circuit and roads, it hasnt drinked any oil!!

And it sounds smoother now, it had a lot of strange noises when idling, and when retaining at high rpms.

Here´s a video of the fun we had in the circuit:

    aaand some photos:

az0w.jpgh8hr.jpg1x41.jpgswpw.jpg 4x4 mode in this one!! hahahah

    Merry Christmas for all!!!!!!

  7. Yea mate, thats what ive read, that 10w40 is recommended for engines with lots of miles. And mine has almost 250.000km.

I hope it goes better with it. Anyway it was the first time i beated the car that hard since i bought it, 1hour of vtecing thru mountain roads.

I just think that the oil was veeery hot, being thinner, and it went thru somewhere, and smoked because of that.

  8. Hey mates!, the project has stopped for a while. Took the car last weekend to the mountain for the first time, so i could have fun with it at least!

Car behaved really great on twisty roads, but after 50km of "touge", it started to puff blue-ish smoke

I stopped to cool it down, and check the oil level. It was almost at minimum (topped it that same morning).

Bought the car with fresh 5w40 oil in it, it has drinked 1,5Liters in 7000kms, so im gonna put fresh 10w40 oil in it to see if it stops a bit drinking oil. So for now, this is the last money i put in the car

If it doesnt stop using that much oil, im gonna sell the car, i cant afford opening the engine and refurbish it.

Is that oil comsuption a lot guys??

  9. Back again with a little update, the headers of the mb6 from the scrapyard were the stock ones (booooo for my blind friend lol).

But i got a set of yellow konis from the car, for a laughable price!!. They looked nice, without any leaks.

    Some sunny photos of her!!

I know, it sits like a 4x4 hahaha.

I hope to give her some lows with the new suspension!

Also does someone know if this kit will fit the mb6??:

    http://www.aftermarketsuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=82008#reviews

I hope to fix the pile of strange noises the car makes on bumpy roads and the handling issues that it has right now, with that kit.

  10. Hey mate, I have a similar problem with my mb6, its handling its quite... strange too. Overtaking cars at full throttle its quite horrifiying lol. Car leans a lot from side to side, in twisty roads its veeery sluggish, most of the time i have more fun in my work ford transit, than with the civic, and its not a joke,

I´ve found out that almost all of the suspension bushes, rear lower control arms and front, also steering rack bushes are all completely fu***ed up.

Also my steering rack its leaking from two different points.

I know of a mb6 being breaking apart very cheap near barcelona, give me a mp and ill make u in contact with the guy if you need something.
