Gonna get my s**tty 4-2-1 fitted this weekend along with coilovers and new wheels too! Dewiper and fit a few other goodies then it's pretty much there! Watch this space!

Found a set of alloys, 14 x 6.5, 4x100, ET38, 57.1. What spigot rings would I need to get in order for them to fit!? Please respond quick lads!

Not posted and updated this for so long as I forgot my password hahah! Got some decent updates, firstly, Billy from Complete Auto Solutions in Shotts did an amazing job of my N1 Backbox And I finally got round to fitting my EG Strut Brace too! fits pretty snug and has benefitted the handling slightly, obviously still rolly in the corners but that will all be getting sorted in the next few weeks as I'm going to purchase a full FK High-Tech Suspension kit for MB, MA, MC Civics! I sold my Springs onto an other member of the club due to my garage quoting me 8 hours to put them on as it's more or an effort therefore a whole new suspension set is better value in the long run! I'm also looking around for a decent long arm air intake but don't want to stretch quite as far as an AEM V2 CAI due to the cost! Funky Power sell a Tenzo R CAi for around £100 I think so will possibly be purchasing that too unless I just create my own one with various pieces of induction piping and change the filter for a better one? Opinions gents?

I'm gonna get the Dark Ice Designs one! saves the effort and time if it's a direct bolt on!

Try a strut brace for an MG ZS? Been so long since I've updated this and there has been a lot of updates! Firstly, I bought an airbox with Pipercross Panel Filter and aluminium pipe from a gentleman on here. I then got my headlight tints and had my front lights tinted, I'm a big fan of it and it looks good at night too, turns a lot of heads! I also purchased a mushroom filter to replace the airbox, I know I might be soaking up some heat but it looks good, I'm going to buy another piece of pipe and 45 degree elbow to lengthen it and move it closer to the air inlet pipes! My Superstreet N1 3" EG Backbox arrived too, along with my EG Front upper strut brace, "D16 Inside" sticker and Ford Tibetan Gold paint for the alloys. Today my FK lowering springs also arrived, they look really good and overall I'm really happy with the purchases I've made! Borrowing a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in Black, 17" while I spray my standard alloys! but, if they look good enough on the car I might just buy them from my mate until I can get my XXR's in the next month or two!

Aw I see, I wouldn't mind doing that, got a mate who's quite car handy as it turns out with a class garage! he can do them!

Also, will an EG Rear upper strut brace fit!?

So the MB4 has been stripped, and I'm wondering if I can save time, money and effort by getting harness eye bolts instead of a bar! There's two small screw holes from where the rear bench was, and I'm wondering if, depending on size/thread, I can put eye bolts in legally and safely? The location of them is marked in the picture with arrows pointing to where they are, and they're at a decent angle facing upwards towards the top of the front seats!

Yes indeedy Steve! Sweet man, I'll have a proper look at the Haynes and see where everything is, I'm used to seeing Volkswagen Saloon interiors being removed or changed (rear seats, etc) and for them it's just a case of pulling out the bottom and stuff! simple, cheers man!

I find it a very artistic myself.. I love a bargain, found some Skunk2 Gold Rear Lower Control arms for £70-odd too, first payday next Wednesday! possibly coilovers and LCA's and/or Cat back being purchased!

Any idea how difficult it will be to strip the boot and rear out off the MB4? I have received my Haynes manual but it's s**t at explaining what to actually do and isn't that clear either. cheers!

Only has to small dents from speedbumps on the 2-1 section! Decat is a bit rusty and the flange has been modified/bent to fit... but I'm not complainin for £45

Well, the mods have started! Picked up an absolute bargain the other day! £45 for a 4-2-1 Manifold and a Decat too! Also purchased a Pipercross Panel Filter with MB Airbox and Aluminium induction piping for £28 too!

They also do genuine ones but they've copied the design and branded it as FP and called it the N1 so it'll be the exact same I think, £250 for the cat back which is very good!

Ah sweet, I hope it fits, I'm gonna buy it when I have the money, and just sell the backbox and get a smaller one!

Found a Toyosports Cat back for an MB6 VTI and I know the backbox would fit, but would the centre pipe fit up to the cat/decat on my MB4?
