  1. I heard that it could be a build up of oil in the solinoid and also disconnecting the battery sometimes gets the vtec working again if all fails Im out of options only to sent it to a mechanic but my mechanic hansent a clue on how a vtec system works

I have an issue that only started in the last day or so...the problem is when I bring it up to 4,800 rpm it crosses over fine but the Gos back out of vtec as the rpm still rises up to the 6,800 when the inlets start sucking air that's works fine but it's still kind of dropping in and out of vtec? Also about 2 days ago the fuel light came on and even with half a tank it still won't go off ... Would this be a fuel issue

I have the standard intake and 4 branch on now but I just got my hands on a 4-1 doc sports many and a carbon slug intake I was just wondering after I fit these two bits of kit will I get that mental roar u hear from ek9 and dc2 I was led to believe it was the 4-1 mani?? O and I have an mb6

So I got myself an mb6 1998 VTi 123k miles I'm just about to get a full service and t belt / w pump done , im in love with it to be honest my girlfriend is starting to loose the plot , I'm useing any excuse to nip to the shop lol, I was just wondering about the performance as iv watched countless hours of u tube videos , when I open the throttle in 2nd or 3rd @4,500 rpm I can hear a cross over and nice grunt , then again at about 6,500 a smooth pop and great roar from the cat back, is this 2 stage vtec or is it something different any info would be great
