Cheers boys thought I might be a bit low I'm gona do a hot test and a hot wet test (that defo sounds bad haha) that will right off rings if it's that. Will get to the bottom of it. Coming up to my anniversary soon so might ask for a new engine haha

Had a look at compression earlier and came across that cyclinder 1 Was at 12 bar and the other 3 were 14 bar. Is this bad or is it ok having that drop.

Cheers guys. Might have lined up my donor eg as well need bits off a whole for both the falken and the eg deck. But of a side thing but had a go in Matt mb6 was nice but didn't seem as quick as the turbo d16 was serprised cause the deck has 120bhp loads less, does had 180 ftq tho .

Hi again everyone sorry for the big pause. In the middle of sorting homes. Having to move out of where I'm at. Bad news is that there no new news at the min been to buzzy with the house stuff and work. I have desired to take out the d16 turbo and put into my eg hatch with a manuel gearbox. Store the aerodeck if I can and build it back up with an eg front end and a standard ish manuel. I'v just been waiting forever for my eg to be running and it is my dream car. Will build the estate at some point poss over winter or something. If anyone has ideas or thoughts feel free and yes krzys there is a bit of mixing in the oil. Think that is the real reason after all

Cheers guys for the help. I was asking bout an auto cause its the only one with a d16b2 and i want to do like for like so I don't need to tune the ECU. Cause as normal I've changed my Mind and am going to keep the deck a turbo for now. Had to sell my b18 out the eg for family stuff:-( so am looking at poss rebuild the dead engine and run another one asap. prob change tomorrow tho.

Is anyone know of someone who's splitting a deck auto? Need a block the end problem is that the piston ring one cyclinder one is no more and has caused all the problems so need a new one. Or anyone know where the best place for replacemreplacement bits are cheers boys

Looked the other day but wasn't to bad. As got worse tho since. Need to relook. But I've decided that I'm sacraficing the deck for a turbo b18 eg, but am gona run the d16b2 block with d16z6 head and run a stanced deck. Will have to wait tho. Want to do the eg first it is my baby don't hate to much

I need to look again but the other day it looked OK but need to see now cause its got worse. I think there been a blow between the cylinders I think 1&2 that's causing the Subaru sound and smoke can't see any other reason other than head.

This is how she stands at the min. Don't know what's gone happen at the minute really need an everydayer so thinking of taking the turbo off and putting on my eg and running a d16z6 head on the deck just having it n/a for a while. Or get apr studs and new gasket and see what's going on in the engine. Get it running one of the 2 I'm gonna try my hardest to keep her tho cause I'm starting to like the shape and I've always wanted a eg estate main thing that's not helped is no money cause of the accident and need a car working

I've Got some good and really bad news. The engine is running and on all 4 cylinders but the bad news! Blue smoke and miss firing, so oil is defo burning. 3 things head gasket (I think the reason), stem seals or turbo seals (which it an't) so cause of not having money to fund the repair at the min so I'm gonna have to take out the turbo system and throw it on a new d16b2 Mani in the falken. I'm gonna try to keep the shell with the auto so that I can put it back on the road.

Tried wiring up solder iron died my luck on this car is rubbish haha. Gona have a second go tomoz. Did manage to get the 1st cyclinder working tho just number 2 now then timed up

The 1&2 cylinder there no power going to the injectors I've been told. The wiring is the problem I think it's a bit spaghetti looking haha. Plus the other two have a weak supply to them think a solder joint might have failed or something will know in the morning will still need timing after tho.
