I have an mb2 and wanted to know what 1.6 VTEC engine it was I can put in my car for example is it the d16v1 or the d16w7 or are these just names I'm pulling at random as I only saw them on the net a few minutes ago

The problem is I'm an idiot with cars and I have looked around and all the knowledge I have is that I want to go faster

I got my car for free off of a family friend iv already made it look nicer just making it faster if I could get some links to stuff that I can put in my engine and any other necessary parts then that would be very much appreciated

Is this when people bore out a side of their car so that the air goes to that?

So if I was lucky enough to find one would it be possible to put either of those 2 engines in my mb2??

Basically I'm a bit of a noon when it comes to cars and the description I'm going to give you of my car might not be what you want as Im not very knowledgable. Firstly iv got a mb2 1.4i and havehad my car for about 4 weeks now and people I know coming up to me and saying its a bit of a grandad car is getting to be quite annoying basically I want it to go faster haha people have said "get a b18" which I know is an engine but where can I get one and if heard about cold air intakes and turbos etc just wondering if I would be able to get that sort of thing in my car because its not a type r or any of that fancy stuff and I'm not in with all this civic or car language basically the wah I will learn is if you send me links to stuff to buy then I will write a list down and put it in my car (easy enough?)
