Hey folks!
So I changed the idle position as it was running at 500 RPM and it was fine however after a day it adjusted itself back to 500 RPM... Done this a few times now and it keeps happening. Any ideas would be wonderful.
My main issue now is when the car is warm and I stop at a set of lights or whatever, I get this terrible smell of burning oil inside the car. Once I start driving again it disappears. I am not loosing oil from the sump at all. I do however get quite a bit of white smoke until run at least 30-45 mins.
Any suggestions of this issue at all?
Any help would be much appreciated guys

Hey guys.
So I just bought the car last week. In my intro post I said about the car having way too much oil in the engine... Well that oil has halved itself in just under a week
My idle is sitting around about 500 rpm too, which is way too low for my liking and when disengaging a gear, it's close to stalling but then saves itself. I tried to adjust it via the bolt on the throttle cable but to no avail (I was trying with pliers mind ).
Is there an idle screw anywhere??
Is there places that the d16 engines loose oil from commonly?
There are other issues however i'd say these were my main worries just now that I would like a wee helping hand with if you guys don't mind
Thanks in advance folks
when the **** does my fuel light come on...???
