Bri
I have a MB6, VTIs and have dc2 suspension on it and is not working out for me as its too low at the rear and just want to change them, causing me too many issues for where I have to drive, so am looking for opinions as to which ones below should I go for, just want direct fit onto my mb6 and be able to adjust height to suit. If any other available, let me know. Please Help!!!http://www.cyberspeeds.eu/index.php?mai ... cts_id=324http://www.bc-racing.co.uk/c-bca03/hond ... ej9-96-00/http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?a=i&p ... lover-Kit#
johngreen537
The Zeta S mate, the forum has a deal going with Meister R (who make them) so you can get them direct for £549...If you've got DC2 suspention, you'd have to have had the LCA's changed too, otherwise it wouldn't fit due to the different bracket at the bottom of the shock. Can't you leave the DC2 shocks and just buy some adjustable springs to lift up the rear end a touch?
Gav_ek4
Its the length of the shock that is the problem, my solution was to use dc2 springs on the oem mb6 shocks, gives it about 25mm more height an retains the stifness of the teg stuff as it mostly comes from the spring rates
Bri
Does anyone know which springs I should get to fit on the DC2 rear shocks to lift it up abit?
Gav_ek4
you cant use different springs on the dc2 shocks to lift the height....ITS THE LENGTH OF THE SHOCK THAT IS DIFFERENT
johngreen537
you cant use different springs on the dc2 shocks to lift the height....ITS THE LENGTH OF THE SHOCK THAT IS DIFFERENTMakes sense...If the shocks are too short, you can't lift them beyond the max uncompressed size, and you can't adjust the length of a shock either...I'd go for what Gav said he did, MB6 shocks (or MG ZS 180 ones, as they are slightly shorter and much firmer) and DC2 Springs... Bri
So it looks like i'd have to change the shocks to raise the height!! Does anyone know where I could get a set of standard MB6 shocks and LCA's? Or would I be better off going for coilovers, ie Meister's?Cheers?
