johngreen537
May just be out of tolerance mate.So the map may have had a tolerance of a certain temp range to increase fuelling and such like, or could even have had the sensor disabled.... digitalfaze
so if the sensor is disabled can i bypass it?
johngreen537
Might be worth a try mate. Just unclip the wires from the sensor!IAT sensor is on the intake manifold on the MB6!
digitalfaze
well i done the code reading wrong, jumped the service port and got a code 22 (vtec pressure switch) now i have looked online and it seems i need to bridge 2 wires "A4" with "D6" although when i look at my connectors there is no wire where "D6" should be. Gav_ek4
the conection needs to be made inside the ecu on the mb6 due to not having a wire in d6 use this link for the instructions on how to do it,.. this is for a p72 but its the same board as the p28/p30 http://cars.homenetcs.co.uk/honda-civic ... ns-ecu.htmthe image shows where the wire needs soldered between the pins in the ecu to remove code
digitalfaze
yeah got it sorted now, ecu work but no iab's will have to wait till my inlet and head gets changed so i will no longer require the iab's.cheers again folks
Gav_ek4
the link i showed you also shows you the connection to bridge to make the iabs work mate , its just 2 wires you bridge same as code22
digitalfaze
yeah i bridged them too but still nothing, when i bought the ecu i think he deactivated the iab's as he said these were for more turbo applications etc, i dont know if iab's just relate to mb6 or they are used in different applications too. Gav_ek4
who chipped it and who done the map?contact scott at h-tune in dumfries and buy a chip with your requirements onhe will do what you want, iabs are not activated by the chip, they are activated by the pins being bridged on the ecu on a p28/p30get a teg si basemap with the vtec point moved up to 5k and the rev limit lifted to 8650...you will notice a massive difference in your vti-s after this
