Dont do it unless you want to spend big money,

you will need a single stage set of cams and valve train and management to run it all,

You will get the same gains from a good exhaust and filter .

every mb6 i no that has changed the standard manifold has put it back on because the could not get them to run right ( i one of them ) . Rich.

This is were the problems start if you just fit the inlet, The rest of the engine is set up for the twin stage. (coursing flat spots) .

The cams have to be changed due to them being made to come on vtec at 4500 rpm .

So to get the most out of your single stage change them for a 6000 rpm vtec set up (ie like the skunk 2's ) and at that point as you are opening the valves more you are best to change the valves and retainers to ones that are made to handle it.

Then with you management you can move the limiter to 9000 rpm = more power . Last thing you want after all that work is something in the vavle train to break and it will be an engine rebuild.

Always best to go over the top than not to do enough and have something break.

Rich.
